2 ValiPak / ValiPak TOUCH hd 380 WSI-V ValiPak hd 480 WSI-V ValiPak TOUCH The validatable, constant heated hd 380 WSI-V ValiPak and hd 480 WSI-V ValiPak TOUCH bar sealers are used for heat sealing of sterile barrier systems (pouches and reels). Thanks to their compact design, they are ideal for use in clinics, as well as dentist s surgeries and smaller healthcare facilities. 3 AppCtrl: perfect handling via 4.3 touchscreen SAFETY GUARANTEED: validation of heat sealing processes The safety of the patient is at the forefront of all considerations. primary objective of packing instruments which penetrate the skin or mucous membrane in healthcare facilities is the maintenance of sterility until the point of use. The international standard iso therefore explicitly requires validated packaging processes. during the sealing process, the critical process parameters temperature, pressure and sealing time must be monitored routinely. The user has to be alarmed in case of a parameter deviation. furthermore the critical process parameters must be routinely checked and documented according to that standard. routine controls may include the seal check or the dye penetration test (inktest or inktest pro). The heat sealers ValiPak and ValiPak TOUCH meet these requirements. Three high-tech sensors monitor the critical process parameters (temperature, pressure and sealing time) during the sealing process. if one of the parameters deviates, the user is alarmed acoustically and visibly via the display. furthermore, the devices have a pc interface for the connection with process and documentation systems (e.g validoc/validoc Touch). ValiUp: integrated validation tool a further safety characteristic is the especially wide seal seam of 10 mm (0.4 inch). The minimum width of 6 mm (0.25 inch) required by en is significantly exceeded, and the closure safety is increased. The valipaks come with a seal check function. after the test, the device shows the critical parameters in the display. The values can then be entered into a documentation spreadsheet. valipak Touch also records every single sealing process internally, which can then be recalled via the touchscreen.

4 functionality. intuitive functions and carefully thought-out solutions ensure perfect handling. The large 4.3 touchscreen on the ValiPak TOUCH and the clear, structured display on the ValiPak are always in the user s field of vision and show all status and warning messages. The valipaks are heated up after around two minutes, the sealing time is only around three seconds and the films can be sealed sequentially without interruption. The devices feature an integrated piece and operating hours counter. The integrated cutting device means that the best pouch length can be cut for the size of the instrument. Appctrl (valipak Touch only) using hawo s unique control apps, all device and programming functions can be called up directly. Thanks to appctrl, operation and communication become child s play. valiup (valipak Touch only) valiup is a new, device-integrated validation tool that guides the user step by step through the qualification processes according to the validation requirements. valiup is unique in this class of devices! Doclink valipak and valipak Touch can be connected via the integrated interfaces to process or documentation systems (e.g. validoc Touch). valipak Touch additionally features 4 usb ports and one ethernet interface (WlaN and bluetooth on request). datamatic (valipak Touch only) With datamatic, all process data can be recorded on a conventional usb stick or pen drive and transferred to any computers (pc or Mac) for further data processing. seamless documentation is therefore possible even without connecting the device to external process or documentation system. ecology and sustainability environmental protection and cost-effectiveness are a matter of course for valipak and valipak Touch. as a result, the devices use very little energy during operation and have an automatic stand-by function when not in use. The ink is distributed evenly over all 4 sealing seams. This means that the complete pack integrity can be tested.
