4 Matlab Simulink Simscape Simscape enables you to rapidly create models of physical systems within the Simulink environment. With Simscape, you build physical component models based on physical connections that directly integrate with block diagrams and other modeling paradigms. Physical Systems Simulation - Simscape - MATLAB & Simulink An easy way to start a new Simscape model is by using the ssc_new function. When you type ssc_new at the MATLAB Command prompt, the software creates a new model prepopulated with certain blocks. By default, Simulink Editor hides the block names in the model diagram. Creating a New Simscape Model - MATLAB & Simulink Simscape models integrate directly with block diagrams in Simulink, state machines in Stateflow, and MATLAB functions. You can simulate your entire system in a single environment. This accelerates tasks like designing control systems and optimizing system-level performance.
