In order to count the number of line segments in the given figure, let us label it accordingly: So, the line segments are: CD, CB, CA, CE, DA, DB, DE, AB and AE. On counting the number of line segments, we conclude that the given figure has 9 line segments. (2) 3 We know that a line that bends in a continuous way without making any sharp angles is called a curved line. The highlighted lines in the figure below represent curved lines.
