Within days he already mastered it and work with his co-workers to fix some problem they had at work. I would give this book to anyone that needs to learn VBScript fast and easy. If my son was happy with it then I'm

4 happy with it. I got this book because I was working on a project at work that had some ASP related issues and my team of developers needed help. This is not my strong language at all and I managed to figure out where we had been going wrong. I love Key's writing style because it is very simple for me to understand and sometimes programming books are like reading a code. This book clearly deserves 5 star due to all the clear explanations and good programming tips.vbscript is really helpful language and with this book, it became even more easier for you to apply it. I would highly recommend this over self teaching or using tutorials because that way you won't learn anything useful. Only advance programmers can spot the errors in this book when referring to code. For the beginners, they might be pulling their hair out trying to find out why some of the examples are not working. Be very cautious when ordering this pamphlet of 54 pages. Also, understand that even though the title and cover do not mention it, this vbscript literature is catered when working with HTML. I had to modify examples for vbscripts using a.vbs extension, but still some html examples are flawed.if you do get this, only get it as an e-book as you should not pay more than $3 for this. The physical books offered are way over priced, especially when you see the amount of errors published. With a little proof reading and corrections, this book can have a value of $7 but no more. Very in depth guide on getting started using VB Script. Examples show how to use the language structure very effectively. I wrote a script to read a text file and count the number of lines and found all I needed to know here to complete the task in less than min. Very pleased. I had not done any programming in over 15 years. Didn't even know what it was until I got a touch up off it in class and had to possibly start learning it, so I went ahead and got this book. Pretty informative about how to go about things from start to finish. Not once was I left feeling clueless and stuck. This is perfect I tell you. It not only help me understand, but I only heard of the name and now I feel like a pro. If you need help programming this is the thing to go to. It is one of the best helpers I know and it really does give you insight on a lot of helpful things.

5 I've always wanted to learn VBS. I found this book and thought to myself, "Oh, why not give it a try?" So I read it is great. It teaches me a lot about VBS itself, like the parts that make up it. Overall, This book is great and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to start VBS.
