3 Introduction SIGNiX is an online digital signature service that allows users to upload documents, add signature fields, and send documents to others for them to sign. The process is easy for new users to access the document, and once they have created an account, they can continue using their personalized signature on other documents. First Time Setup If you have been granted access to a Kennesaw State University SIGNiX Workgroup, you will receive a verification from Kennesaw State University Online Signatures (demo@signix.com) with a link to a Workgroup Membership document (See Figure 1). You will need to set-up your account first before you can begin administering documents. Figure 1 - with Link to Workgroup Membership Document 1) Click on the link to access your document (See Figure 1). 2) The Let s Get Started window will open. To Agree to Legal Consent, click on Accept (See Figure 2). Figure 2 - Agree to Legal Consent Page 3 of 11

4 3) The Create Your Signature window will appear (See Figure 3). Figure 3 - Create Your Signature 4) Type a Signing PIN into the Select your signing PIN field, and again into the Confirm your signing PIN field (See Figure 4). Your PIN must be at least six (6) characters in length and include at least 1 number and 1 letter. This will act as your password when logging into your account. 5 5) Under Choose how your signature and initials will appear in documents, select one of the following options per your preference (See Figure 5): Figure 5 - Choose How Your Signature and Initials Will Appear in Documents A) Select Draw My Signatures & Initials to use your mouse or finger (if on a tablet or smartphone) to draw a personalized signature (See Figure 6). 6 B) Select Choose My Signature Font to be presented with a selection of ready-made signatures using your name (See Figure 7). Figure 7 - Choose My Signature Font 6) Once you have selected how your signature and initials will appear in documents, click the On to View / Sign button at the bottom of the window (See Figure 8). 7 8) Under Action for Workgroup Membership, click on Sign once (See Figure 9). Figure 9 - Sign Once 9) The Workgroup Membership document will open and a pop-up window will display with additional information. Click OK (See Figure 10). Figure 10 - Confirmation Pop-Up Page 7 of 11

8 10) Once you have read the entire document, scroll down to the Signature section (See Figure 11). Figure 11 - Signature Section 11) Click on Click Here to Sign to sign the document using your digital signature (See Figure 12). Figure 12 - Click Here to Sign Page 8 of 11

9 12) Your digital signature will be added to the document (See Figure 13). Figure 13 - Digital Signature 13) Click on Finish Signing at the top of the window (See Figure 14). Figure 14 - Finished Signing Page 9 of 11

10 14) The Commit Signature(s) confirmation window will appear. Click on Yes (See Figure 15). Figure 15 - Commit Signature(s) Confirmation Window 15) A pop-up window will appear confirming that your signing of the document is complete. Click on Quit to log-out of SIGNiX (See Figure 16). 11 16) A confirmation message will display that you have completed the requirements to access your workgroup. You are now logged out of SIGNiX (See Figure 17). Figure 17 - You're Finished! 17) A workgroup confirmation will be sent to you. This confirmation will contain a link to access your workgroup s account and create documents to be signed (See Figure 18).
