2 CHAPTER 1. INTRODUCTION TO THE DMLPC2148A.Net DEVELOPMENT BOARD INTRODUCTION GM 500A Contactless card Read/Write module was designed base on Mifare product of Philips. Users need not take care how to control the PCD. Just send command to reader module over I2C or UART selected by a bottom switch operate contactless card with fully functions. GM 500A Support Mifare One & Mifare Ultralight, auto request selectable when working with Mifare One GM 500A Module builds in high performance antenna (operating distance up to 80mm.) GM 500A FEATURES Tag supported: Mifare 1K, Mifare 4K, and Mifare UltraLight Communication Protocol: UART: Suitable for PC and 8 bits UART MCU baud rate 9600~115200bps. I2C: Suitable for MCU, max. 400Kbps. Auto detecting tag Built in antenna DC4.5V to DC5.5V VDD operating Operating distance: Up to 80mm, depending on tag Storage temperature: 40 ºC ~ +85 ºC Operating temperature: 20 ºC ~ +70 ºC Dimension: mm Two LEDs, led is auto light when tag in detection range, red and green led is controlled by host.the OUT pin is low level indicating tag in detection range, and high level indicating tag out PINs CONFIGURATION:
