2 What is Smarteye? Smarteye takes Brigade s Camera Monitor Systems (CMS) to a new level with intelligent 360º camera software. It is a new technology that offers a simple but highly effective safety solution for the driver in the cab.

7 How does Smarteye work? The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) combines the input of the ultra wide-angle cameras into a single all-around image to eliminate the many blind spots around the vehicle. See actual video footage of the Smarteye system working via the link below.

8 The Smarteye benefits. FEATURES Intelligent camera monitor system that provides the driver with a bird s-eye, 360 view of the vehicle. Four ultra wide 187 camera lenses eliminate vehicle blind spots to provide a 360 view in a single image. Provides real-time Smarteye view (up to 30 images per second). Built-in watchdog system automatically switches off the camera s image in the event of a malfunction, guaranteeing no frozen images. 16 Calibration. Ground must be flat with as little undulation as possible (+/-10mm). An area with a three metre radius must be visible around the vehicle. There are four stages for calibration: Set up the required grid pattern (Fig1 or Fig2). Position the vehicle as shown. Input camera position measurements.
