5 Hardware Laser Trackers The LTD800 is the latest addition to the Leica Laser Tracker family of metrology products designed for portable coordinate measurement. The laser tracker offers the fastest measurement cycle in the industry for high-point density (3,000 points/second), and the longest measurement distance for large volume work up to 40m (135 ft). The software allows multiple sensors to work concurrently or independently either within single or multiple 3D coordinate system(s). Management Profile Walter Mittelholzer President Metrology Division Walter Mittelholzer joined the Leica group in 1989 as a Product Manager for industry products. In 1991, he became the Marketing Manager for the Industrial Measurement division (now known as the Metrology Division), where he was mainly involved in the product and market development of the first generation of Leica Laser Trackers. In 1995, Mr. Mittelholzer was promoted to Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Industrial measurement Business Area. In 2001 Mr. Mittelholzer was promoted President of the fully verticalized Metrology Division. Prior to joining the Leica Geosystems, Mr. Mittelholzer worked with Brown & Sharpe's Swiss subsidiary and held different positions in product development, product management, marketing and sales management in the Coordinate Measuring Systems Division. Mr. Mittelholzer holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Systems Engineering from the Interstaatliche Hochschule für Technik NTB Buchs, Switzerland.

7 Dr. Juergen Dold Vice President Business Development Juergen Dold joined Leica Geosystems in 1995 as a Product Manager for industrial measurement products. Since 1989, he has been involved in research, development and business planning for leading industrial measurement products. At Leica Geosystems he managed numerous business lines of portable coordinate measuring systems that are based on technologies such as Local Positioning Technology-based solutions, Theodolites, Laser Trackers, Laser Radars and CAD-based industrial measurement software. Since 2002, Mr. Dold holds the position of the VP Divisional Business Development. Prior to joining Leica Geosystems Mr. Dold was Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Braunschweig (Germany) and developed an industrial photogrammetry system in cooperation with ROLLEImetric. Dr. Dold holds a masters degree in Geodesy from the Bonn University (Germany) and a doctorate in the field of industrial measurement from the Military University Munich (Germany). He has published over 30 scientific papers in the field of industrial measurements. Dr. Roland Zumbrunn Vice President Research & Development Roland Zumbrunn started working as a physicist in the R&D department of Leica Geosystems AG in 1981 (at that time Kern & Co.), where he managed projects in digital interferometry for testing optical components. Here he set up a team to establish expertise in image processing for developing prototypes in 3D sensor technology, video theodolites and close-range photogrammetry. From 1997 he was software development Pool Leader for the "Software Solutions Business Area" and project leader for Axyz version development. From 1992 to 2000 he worked as a part-time lecturer in image processing at the FHBB (Fachhochschule beider Basel) and the University of Basel. In 2000, he assumed leadership of the combined hardware and software development pool, and ownership of the Leica Innovation Process (LIP). Since 2003, Roland Zumbrunn has been Vice President, Research & Development. Dr. Zumbrunn holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering and a masters and doctorate degrees in physics from the University of Bern, Switzerland. Simona Gambini Director Global Marketing & Communication Simona Gambini is an adept marketing and communications professional. She has over 10 years of experience in developing international strategic marketing and communication programs across a range of companies in different market sectors. Prior to joining Leica Geosystems AG in 2004, Ms. Gambini served as Marketing Director at STOXX Ltd. (financial services, ) and Sihl Landquart (paper industry, ). In both positions her responsibilities included all global marketing and public relations-related issues. Ms. Gambini started her professional career as project manager in the marketing department

8 of the Zurich Transport Authority. Ms. Gambini holds a masters degree in economics and organizational psychology from the University of Zurich, Switzerland as well as an Executive Master in Communications Management from the University of Lugano, Switzerland. Dave Koster Vice President Service & Support Dave Koster joined Leica Geosystems in late Mr. Koster has a medical engineering background and has studied electronics. Working for Philips Medical Systems ( ) and Toshiba Medical Systems ( ), Mr. Koster has accumulated substantial experience in international Customer Support and Service. Prior to joining Leica Geosystems, Mr. Koster worked for Roche Molecular Systems ( ), gaining experience in the field of Information & Knowledge Management as a project manager. Mr. Koster co-authored 2 scientific papers about rendering of 3D X-ray images and the measurement of vessels in the human brain. Juerg Leuenberger Vice President Financial Controlling Juerg Leuenberger joined Leica Geosystems in 1991 as a Financial Controller for the Industrial Measurement, Photogrammetry and Land Information Businesses. In 1995 he lead the Customer Support and Service for Photogrammetry and Land Information Systems. In 1996 he again took over controlling in the fastgrowing Industrial Measurement Division. In addition, he was involved in many Corporate Projects in the M&A and Spin-off area. He was also involved in the IPO preparation of Leica Geosystems in He was a Member of the Board of Novalis (a daughter company of Leica Geosystems) from February 1999 to July Prior to joining Leica Geosystems Mr. Leuenberger was working as a representative in a midsize local consulting company. He holds a masters degree in Business Economics with a concentration in Finance, Controlling and Taxation. Harald Traxler Vice President Operations & Supply Chain Harald Traxler joined the Leica Group in 1991 as a Process Engineer for geodetical products in the former GEO business unit (now known as the Surveying & Engineering Division). Since 1995, he was responsible for managing projects in Leica Geosystems 'Licensing' Initiative, such as Joint Venture for Tacheometers in Russia and EDM License Production in China. Later, he was responsible for setting up the TPS Assembly in Singapore. He then took the lead of Process Engineering in IMS in 1999, now known as the Metrology Division. In addition, he was in charge of the production of laser trackers and accessories. Harald Traxler also covers all quality, occupational safety and environmental aspects for the Metrology Division in Switzerland. Since 2004, Mr. Traxler holds the position of the VP Operations & Supply Chain. Prior to joining Leica

9 Geosystems, Harald Traxler worked in the field of mechanical engineering in CNC programming and machining. Mr. Traxler holds a Bachelor in Business Engineering from the Liechtenstein University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Liechtenstein). Jean Gardiner Vice President Sales Region Americas Jean Gardiner is an industry veteran with over 12 years of sales and management experience. Since joining Leica Geosystems she has served as a Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager and Business Development Manager. Her experience within the industry has helped build and develop the Americas Metrology Division. In her current role as Vice President, she is responsible for Sales, Service and Support within the Americas Region. Prior to joining Leica Geosystems in 1995, Ms. Gardiner worked in the Automotive Production Management field as a Production Area Manager at Chrysler Corporation ( ) as well as a Manufacturing Planning Specialist at Ford Motor Company ( ). She began her sales career working as a Product Specialist at Morrell Inc. and as a systems integrator of hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic equipment. Ms. Gardiner holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri - Rolla, USA. Adrian Lee Vice President Sales Region Asia Pacific Adrian Lee is a technical sales and management professional with over 13 years of experience in heavy industry, aviation and general industry markets. Prior to joining Leica Geosystems AG in May 2005, Adrian had been working as a country manager in Snap-On Korea between 2003 and At Watlow Korea Mr. Lee held the job of Business Development Manager from 1999 to During his tenure at Hyundai Motors ( ), he was in charge of direct sales, setting up dealer networks and making technical sales of heavy earth-moving equipment. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Western Sydney, Australia. Duncan Redgewell Vice President Sales Region Europe Duncan Redgewell joined Leica Geosystems in 1988 and moved to the Industrial Division in 1990 where he worked extensively with first sales of laser trackers into gaugeless building and the automated assembly of military aircraft within Europe. More recently, he has been responsible for bringing together the sales organizations of the individual European Countries into one centralized sales team and oversees the implementation of a common approach to customer sales, support and service across the region. He has held positions as UK sales manager, Northern Europe manager and Business Development Manager. Mr.

10 Redgewell is now VP and European Business Manager. Prior to joining Leica Geosystems Mr. Redgewell worked for 11 years as measurement Engineer specializing in Precision Alignment and Dimensional Control. Qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, he has been involved in the use of metrology equipment and techniques for over 20 years.
