3 Folding and sliding with HAWA-Frontfold 20 The folding/sliding hardware HAWA-Frontfold 20 folds wooden or aluminium shutters weighing up to 20 kg, slides them to one side and stacks them at 90 in front of the windows. They can also be mounted to the outside of balconies to serve as free-standing privacy screens or windbreaks. HAWA-Frontfold 20 is the ideal hardware system when it comes to covering large window surfaces although only a little parking space is available. Both even and odd numbers of leaves are possible. Special solution: HAWA-Aperto 60/H HAWA-Aperto 60/H is predestined for applications requiring an effective sun screen for very extensive window fronts with sliding shutters that play a less prominent role on the façade when they are open. It stacks even large-area wooden shutters parallel to the façade or at a 90 angle to the direction of travel, for instance in a balcony recess. Whether they simply slide or slide and fold, all Hawa hardware systems share the same well-known running properties. These robust systems consist of corrosionproof materials and were developed specifically for external applications.
