3 Start with a simple equation. One table with four leg configurations is a well-designed line of desking. Multiply it by 27" of height adjustability; add privacy screens and overheads, and the product is T-4. Divide that complete system by its price, and you've found your office furniture solution. The foundation of T-4 is a 29" fixed height table with a steel leg assembly that is the essence of durability and simplicity. Simple doesn't mean limiting, however. Many worksurface shapes from the cockpit to the conference peninsula are available with this base. The pin height adjustable table takes the T-4 base to the next level. Telescoping legs with spring steel buttons allow the user to set the surface height from 24"-31" in one-inch increments. Your desk should conform to you, not the other way around. Fixed Pin In an era of job-sharing, you may not be the only one your desk needs to accommodate. That's where the crank adjustable table comes in. Because it relies on a worksurface mounted mechanical crank, this table can be adjusted uniformly from 22"-33", or 27"-43" in a sit/stand version, even under load. And because this table is continuously adjustable across its range, you can find your perfect fit. For the easiest and greatest range of adjustment, T-4 boasts an electric adjustable table. Standard table controls regulate the height from 24"-51" with the push of a button, while an optional deluxe controller also contains a digital height display and stores up to three presets. 4 With all of its flexibility, the T-4 table sets the tone for an entire space dedicated to simple lines and maximally functional furniture. Newly added privacy screens and overheads have turned the traditional T-4 line into a complete office system with the stylistic values of the signature table. Screens mount to table bases, providing privacy both above and below the worksurface without encroaching on desktop space. Universal and Venus overheads attach to T-4 via simple steel uprights. Overheads are only available on fixed height worksurfaces. Power and data management accessories also enhance the clean lines of T-4. Mini cable trays route stray cords behind table cross-braces. Similarly, wire troughs conceal components of the furniture's optional 10-wire electrical distribution system. But there is only so much one furniture line can do. Series XXI pedestal files lend a hand by providing under-desk storage, while Novel tables create mobile meeting spaces that echo T-4's sensibilities. Overheads - Universal and Venus overheads can be ordered in a variety of fabrics, laminates, and solid colors to coordinate with any aspect of the decor. Privacy Screens - Privacy screens are available in transparent plastic to admit natural light or fabric for acoustic dampening. Power and Data - Mini cable trays attach to cross-braces and route wires beneath the desk, clear of screens and modesty panels. 4. Both the crank and electric height adjustable tables have vertical ranges of 16" or more, allowing you to work comfortably in a seated or standing position. Because these table mechanisms operate easily under load, you can even change the height of your worksurface throughout the day to better suit your tasks. Additionally, T-4 tables can be ordered with a full front keyboard mechanism. This feature breaks the worksurface into front and rear sections that the operator can adjust independently or align as needed. The keyboard portion of the surface also tilts up to 15 to ease wrist strain. Lastly, a PowerUp module brings data, telephone, and power receptacles to any T-4 desktop. When its not in use, the unit recesses into the surface to leave an unobstructed work space. Desking that anticipates your needs is the only answer for a workplace with variable demands.
