9 2.1 Functional buttons HVR provides 5 kinds of main functional buttons as following description. Setup button ( ) Able to access recording setup such as recording frame, camera, recording schedule, date designation, intelligent function, motion area, user ID management, system, network, view log, (Please see #3 section setup description) Search button ( ) Able to search the data on HVR with quick search tool. PTZ button ( ) Able to control PTZ camera through graphical PTZ camera controller or on-screen mouse click. Backup button ( ) Able to search the backup data and process backup by individual camera, time.

10 2.2 Live Screen HVR displays the image of IP camera, HD-SDI camera and analog camera on one display mode. User can use on-screen operating tool such as digital zoom on the live displaying screen. Image digital zoom by mouse drag Select PTZ mode, select the camera to control. Drag a square of area to zoom in. The area will zoom-in and able to zoom in up to 5 levels. x5 (mouse drag to zoom in) (zoom -in image) 4 Click mouse right button to exit. 2.3 Camera screen divisions / full screen It provides various camera screen division up to 13 modes. Click the screen division to change. (13 kinds of Screen Divisions) Change camera position by mouse drag & drop Select the camera you want to change and drop it to the position.

11 2.4 Recovering Camera Position/ Dual Monitor Recovering camera position Click this button back to the original camera position after changes of camera position through mouse drag & drop. Dual Monitor Select any of individual camera and move to the second monitor with full screen. The second monitor Must be setup on windows for this function in advance. (Main screen) (the second monitor screen) How to setup the second monitor on Windows OS A. Connect the 2 nd Monitor to the system before HVR system on. B. Right mouse click on the desktop of Windows and go into Properties- Settings c. Adjust resolution of the 2 nd monitor similar to the 1 st monitor. A. Select the camera screen and click then you can see the dual screen is working. E. You can zoom in and out through mouse wheel scroll. Remark The second monitor resolution is suggested to lower than that of the first screen. Otherwise, it may cause less image quality due to CPU overload.

12 2.5 Audio Output(Volume) Control You can record audio and listen to it. Adjust the audio volume level with mouse control. 2.6 HDD Usage Status It shows current HDD storage usage status. 2.7 Network Status It shows current connecting status of CMS. (Non-connected network status) (connected network status)

13 2.8 Right Mouse Button Menu You can access to option menu through right mouse click on the display mode. Start / Stop to save AVI format Save image as JPG Setup PTZ camera and fixed camera ON / OFF for Fog image enhancement Remote camera reboot Save as AVI file The current displaying image can be saved as AVI file by on-screen mouse click. Move the mouse on the displaying screen, and select start save as avi file option, then it will start to save it as AVI file. When it starts saving, it will show AVI on the camera screen. REC REC [AVI] (Start Save as avi file OFF status) (Start Save as avifile ON status) Remark : AVI file will be automatically saved at C:\ drive with file name (CH_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS) Save as JPG You can save the current displaying image as JPG snapshot. Move the mouse on the displaying camera, and select the menu, and then the image will be automatically saved under C:\NVRJPG folder as JPG Setup tracking with fixed camera It is tracking the object with fixed camera and PTZ camera together. Once the object comes in the detected Area of the fixed camera, the linked PTZ camera will automatically trace it and zoom in the object. 1 Select a fixed camera detecting the object, and right mouse click. Select Select Setup tracking with fixed camera option.

14 2 3 Select PTZ Camera number to interact with the fixed camera. Mouse right menu, select Pan Tilt button and zoom out its PTZ camera as well Adjust Pan/Tilt of PTZ camera and match the PTZ camera watch the central which is left-top area of fixed camera then select the Get left-top position the fixed camera menu Adjust the Pan/Tilt of PTZ camera and match the PTZ camera watch the central which is right-bottom area of fixed camera 6 After select Use tracking, click on fixed camera are and check whether PTZ camera can tracking well or not. Remarrk It can connect various fixed camera and single PTZ camera. Motion Tracking have to setup on fixed cameras, It have not to setup on PTZ camera. If It setup the each edge of fixed camera match to central of PTZ camera, accuracy will be better comparatively. In case of object moving fast such as car, camera operating speed cannot enough to trace properly.

15 2.8.4 Night mode / Fog image enhancement Night mode This function is dedicated for Sony IP PTZ camera. Select night mode level to apply from 1 to 10. (default night mode Lv) *Remark* If the selected mode level is too high (too bright,) it performs less accuracy to identify the object due to too much light. Fog image Enhance mode If you apply this mode, it will show clear figure of the shape and able to see the clearer image. It will remove the dust on the image and deliver the best image on foggy, snowy or rainy environment. But the original image without image enhancement will be saved. (Snowy -normal mode-) (snowy - image enhance mode-) Camera reboot It reboots the camera to provide refreshed image background for intelligent video analytics and image enhancement feature. It is suggested to apply when intelligent features performs less accurate or change camera.

17 3. Overview of Setup Mode You can add cameras and setup recording mode such for individual camera. Remark : Factory default ID is administrator without password. 3.1 Recording Frame Setup (connecting camera) You can setup the camera resolution, recording frame and qaulity Video loss setting : set options in case of Video loss. (Including beep) Automatic switching Interval : set auto switching time of recording under event recording setting. Auto switch settings : set the auto switching time of monitoring window. Estimated recording time : display the total HDD space of storage setup. Camera : add, edit or delete on the list for IP, SD, HD cameras. Detail Setup : set detail options of each IP network camera. Camera setting display : show camera status of HVR. (such as camera position, model number, resolution, recording frame, IP address, port number)

18 3.1.1 Video Loss Settings Use Beep : enable beep sound for video loss immediately : immediate alert for video loss Auto Switching Interval You can setup time interval of auto switching of displaying screen division Camera Setup Add, Edit, Delete Add Camera A. Click ADD button. B. Maker :select the manufacturer (IP camera) name or capture board (analogue & HD-SDI camera). C. Model : select model name D. Channel : select the channel of capture card. E. Camera number : select Camera number F. Camera position : assign camera name such as installed location. G. Image flip : change camera displays upside down H. Display only key frames : displays key frame only and recording more frames to concentrate recording rather than displaying. I. Select video : setup dual streaming if the IP camera supports. J. Setup image codec, resolution, bit rate, frames for network transmission. K. Setup PreAlarm / PostAlarm recording time. L. Audio In / Out : Select the audio gain if the microphone is installed with camera. M. Connect setup : input ID, password, HTTP port and RTSP port. (Setup details could be different as per camera model. )

19 3.1.4 Detailed Network Camera Setup You can adjust detailed setting value of each network camera on this setup. (Example : setup for Sony SNC-CH-120)

20 3.2 Recording frame Setup Add cameras for recording or change recording value for individual camera Camera position : put the camera name such as installing location or camera model name. Font setting : select the font of the camera position showing on the screen. Color adjust : adjust brightness, sharpness, gamma, contrast, saturation. Full screen pop-up : enable screen pop up once the motion is detected as full screen, and select the time duration of popup displaying. Pan/Tilt Setup : select PTZ camera. Select camera name for IP PTZ camera, but protocol for analogue PTZ camera. Setup other control value such as baud rate, PTZ ID, etc. Camera : select a camera to setup. Apply : click to apply all setting value.

21 3.3 Recording Schedule Setup You can setup recording schedule for individual camera by day and time, recording mode. Click Apply to complete. Select Day : Checkmark to select the day for individual recording schedule setup. Multi Select : Checkmark to select multiple days to apply the same recording mode. Select All : Checkmark to apply the same recording mode to all days. Set continuous mode ( C) : click to apply continuous recording mode Set motion mode (M) : click to apply motion detection recording mode Set No Recording (N) : click to apply no-recording mode. How to make Recording Schedule setup (1) Select the day (days) to setup. You can setup recording schedule for individual day or apply the same recording schedule for multiple days by multi select or select all options. (2) Select the time and camera to apply by mouse click or dragging. (3) Select the recording mode. (4) Click Apply to complete.

22 3.4 Special Day Setup You can setup recording mode for the special days separated from the normal recording schedule. How to setup Special Day Recording Schedule 1) Select a day to apply on the calendar. You can select multiple days, and the selected days will show up as a list. 2) Select cameras and time to apply by mouse click and dragging. 3) Select recording model. 4) Click Apply to complete. How to remove Special Day Recording Schedule 1) Select the day to delete. 2) Click Apply to delete.

23 3.5 Intelligent Setup You can setup intelligent video analytic function such as People/Vehicle counting, Appearance Alarm, Disappearance Alarm and Crowd Detection Alarm Select a camera. 2 Filter Setup : - Select the intelligent video analytics filter to apply. You can apply up to 3 kinds of filters on single camera. 3 - Click Area setup and setup detecting area. ( Left mouse click to start drawing, and right mouse click to complete drawing. ) - Filter Type Appearance, Disappearance : detects object appearance or disappearance. Passing/People Counting: detects numbers of passing objects. Crowd Detection: detects a crowd that the objects exceed a certain number. 3 Minimum/Maximum Object Size Setup : draw a box on screen that minimum/maximum size object size for detection. 4 Link Setup : setup interacting function with intelligent video analytics such as recording, beep alert. 5 Sensitivity : setup detection sensitivity level up to 5.

24 Appearance, Disappearance Detection Setting Select Filter Type : Appearance, Disappearance Once the object is appeared or disappeared in the area, it will detect and alert. - Click Area Setup. - Draw the area to detect by left mouse click and complete to draw by right mouse click. Passing Object Counting -Select Filter Type : Passing Once the object passes the line, it counts numbers and displays it on the line of each direction. - Click Area setup. - Draw the detecting line by left mouse click and complete to draw by right mouse click. You can draw up to 3 lines on single camera. (Able apply maximum 3 filters) - You can designate detecting object size on minimum/maximum object size setup. Crowd Detection - Select Filter Type : Crowd Once the object number exceed a certain number you setup, it detects and alerts. - Click Area Setup - Draw a detecting virtual fence by left mouse click and complete to draw by right mouse click. - Select the number you want to detect.

25 3.6 Motion Detection Setup You can setup PTZ auto motion tracking setup and other interacting functions Detecting alert able to alert the motion detection by visible and audible functions. - Use beep : checkmark to enable beep sound once the motion is detected. - Hidden motion area : checkmark to show motion detection area. - Link to checkmark to send with detected image. - Use motion tracking : checkmark to enable motion tracking function. Alert sound checkmark to enable alert sound on motion detection. You can link up your own wave file as well. Sensitivity adjust sensitivity of motion detection up to 5 level. Clear Motion Area clear motion detection area you setup. Full Motion Area mask full screen as motion detection area (factory default). Pan/Tilt control adjust PTZ camera angle and zoom. Camera select a camera to setup. Apply Click Apply to complete.

26 PTZ Auto Motion Tracking setup PTZ camera will automatically trace the moving object once the object is detected in the area. This function should be supportive of the camera side, so some PTZ camera models will not support this function. 1. Select Camera No. of the PTZ camera in Motion detection setup page. 2. Checkmark to enable USE MOTION TRACKING on detecting alert. 3. Setup recording mode as motion detection on the scheduler.

27 3.7 User Registration You can add or edit user with different privilege User Registration You can add or edit user and assign different privilege. User ID & Password : input user ID and PW. Confirm : Input password to confirm. Memo : leave memo for user reference. Auto Log-off Time : the system automatically log off the user after a period of time. User Group : select user group. Administrator can access to all features. Privilege : assign different privilege for each user. Hidden camera : Any specific cameras will not be allowed to see by some unauthorized user. Checkmark to hide cameras. You can setup 1-16, cameras. Click Apply to complete.

28 3.8 System Setup You can setup system information, data management, printer, notification setup. Site Information -. Site Name : input HVR name. It must be unique for CMS remote access. -. Site Location : input HVR installed location. -. Version : shows program version. -. USB lock serial No. : shows serial Number of USB license dongle System Control Setup -. Disk management : select drive for data recording. -.Date type setup : select the format of date displaying. -. Printer setup : add printer connecting with HVR. -. Date/time setup : adjust time and date of HVR system. Emergency Setup : -. setup : input address for notification function. -. notification Setup : Setup event type for notification. System Display Setup: -. Use Direct X : checkmark to enable it. In case the system doesn t support direct X, then you should disable it. Otherwise the image will not be properly displayed.

29 3.9 Network Setup User can setup network information for CMS access and network data transmission. Remote Port : input network port for remote access by CMS. (default value is 7000) Web Sever Port : Input network port for web application access. (Default value is 80) Remark : You should reboot and refresh the system once you change the default network port. In case HVR is connected with internet router, then you should make port forwarding. For example, if you use default port 80/7000, then it must be forwarded7000/7001,7002/7003/ Bandwidth : select the bandwidth for data transmission. (LAN 128k/64k/56k/336k/288k/144k/96k/5k DDNS Setup : setup DDNS (Dynamic DNS) server. Network Transmission Setup: adjust image quality and resolution for data transmission. It is separated from the data recording on HVR side, and only option for remote monitoring by CMS. Click Apply to complete setup.

30 3.10 Log Information It shows all system log information and you can search any specific time of the log through calendar and searching conditions. Time/Detail : shows time details of system event. Calendar : select the date on the calendar to search. Log Type : select the log type you want to search. Time : select the time you want to search Print : print out the log data. Delete Log : delete log information of the selected time period. Click Apply to complete setup.

32 4. Search Mode You can search the recorded the data and playback with related tools Calendar : shows current system time. Select the date you want to search. The date in orange bold color has recorded data. Playback Time / Speed : shows data time current playback, and playback speed. Display Screen Division : select screen division of playback. Playback speed control buttons : adjust playback speed by clicking buttons. Time table : shows the data location with time table. The data shows in red color on the table, so simply click the red block to playback. Audio data playback: turn on/off audio icon to playback the audio and adjust volume.

33 4.1 Calendar It displays current system time. Select the date to search the data. The date with orange colored bold has recorded data. : move to first recording data. (No existed recording data) : move to today recording data. : move to the last recording data. (Existed recording data) 4.2 Playback Time and Speed It display data time that currently playback and playback speed. Data time currently playback Payback speed Support X ¼ ~ MAX Remark : Playback speed is possibly different from PC hardware specification. Higher specification will perform faster playback speed. 4.3 Display Screen Division It provides various display screen division for playback. You can change camera position by mouse drag an drop as that of live display mode. ( 1, 4, 1+5, 3+4, 1+7, 9, 2+8, 1+12, 16, 36, 49 ) 4.4 Playback Speed Control Buttons You can adjust data playback speed by buttons and scroll bar effectively Playback Scroll bar Play forward Stop playback Playback Back to the first frame. Playback forward by frame Play backward by frame Go to the last frame to playback

34 4.5 Time Table Select the date on the calendar and move to the time table to select the detailed searching condition. How to search data. 1. Select the date on the calendar. 2. Move to the time table and select the hour. 3. Click the minute(min) to search and camera. 4. Playback the data with playback speed control buttons. Mark Details Selected hour. Selected minute. Recorded data 4.6 Audio Data Playback You can listen to the recorded audio data while data playback. (Audio turn OFF) (Audio turn ON)

36 5. Backup You can backup data to external media such as CD/DVD, USB HDD, Network drive, NAS (Network attached drive), etc How to Backup 1 Select a camera, then it shows all dates as a list which has recorded data. Select a date. 2 Select the exact time to playback (hour/minute) and playback speed. Playback the data and check the image before backup on preview search window. 3 Select time on backup date/time. 4 Checkmark the camera to backup and click Add, then backup list will show up. You can select a single or multiple or all cameras. It shows the total size of the backup data. 5 Select backup directory and check include backup viewer. 6 Click start button to backup.

38 6. PTZ Control You can control PTZ camera with graphical controller while monitoring Exit : exit from PTZ control mode. Pan/Tilt : move PTZ up/down, right/left by button clicks. Camera No. : select a camera to control. Zoom In/Out : draw a area by mouse dragging on screen, then click + button to Zoom-In, Zoom-Out (this function should be supportive of PTZ camera side) Focus : adjust camera focus by button clicks. Preset Positions : move PTZ to save preset position. Tour : Turn on PTZ tour function (this function should be supportive of PTZ camera side) Preset/ : able to save multiple preset positions.

40 7. 1 CMS Main Screen You can do live monitoring, setup, data search remotely on HVR through CMS DVR List shows all DVR list registered on CMS. Functional buttons simply access to Single/Multi DVR display, connection, remote setup, remote search, E-map. Menu shows main menu to access to Lon-in, Search, Setup, E-map, Log search Net Phone 2(two) way communication between DVR and CMS. Status List live display of current CMS status. Save Disk List shows save disk information and status Status Information shows current CMS connection status such as connected DVR/ camera number, network bandwidth, etc.

41 7.1.1 DVR List -. DVR list : It shows all DVR list registered on CMS as well as DVR name, IP address. -. Pre-memorize : You can save multiple DVR connecting setup, and simply connect the DVR by mouse click. Pre-Memorize : connect DVR with pre-memorized setup. DVR List : shows all DVR list registered on CMS No. : show DVR number DVR Name : shows DVR Name. IP Address : shows DVR IP Address Functional Buttons You can simply access to the remote DVRS by using these functional buttons. : becomes enabled when single/multi DVR is being connected through pre-memorized. : click to connect remote DVR. : click to setup remote DVR : click to search data of remote DVR : call E-map of remote DVR Main Menu You can access to the main menu of CMS. 42 7.1.5 Status List Display listed up the CMS status Save Drive List It shows CMS save disk information as well as its current status Status Information It shows the information and connecting status of the DVR currently connected with CMS. DVR name : shows DVR name DVR type: shows DVR model IP Address : shows IP Address Connecting status : shows connecting status (connected/disconnected) Camera Count : shows total number of DVR camera Sensor Count : shows total number of DVR sensor Control Count : shows total numbers of DVR control out Transmission Speed : shows transmission speed (uploading speed) CMS Total : shows total transmission data amount from CMS

43 7.2.1 CMS Setup - USER Make the user group with different privilege. Registered user list : It represents the group of registered users. Register new user : Register new user : click this button to add new user, and click Apply. Privilege : you can assign different privilege to each user. My image : change the image with that you prefer such as company logo.

44 7.2.2 CMS Setup - DVR Setup to add, edit and delete DVR information for registration on CMS Registered site list : It represents registered DVR LIST. 2 IP address of my computer : It represents IP information of CMS System. 3 DVR Info : Input the information of Network connection as DVR is registered. Input Site name, DVR Type, PORT, and Site IP. 4 DDNS Setup : Input DDNS server address (IP or Domain) and DDNS Port. 5 Add, Edit, Delete : Add, Edit, Delete DVR.

45 7.2.3 CMS Setup - Display Add, edit, delete the DVR you want to register on CMS DISPLAY : It represents CMS DISPLAY SCREEN and setup information on the LIST. 2 Setup Pre-Memorize : Display list can be generated by clicking + and - after setup display. 3 SCREEN Info : Select DVR name and camera after selecting Display List to monitor the appropriate image. 4 PTZ info Check the information of PTZ setup of each DVR.

46 7.2.4 CMS Setup - Schedule Setup the recording schedule on connected DVR through CMS DVR list : shows a list of registered DVR. 2 Recording Schedule : setup save schedule for the selected DVR from the DVR - Select DVR to save from DVR List. - Drag or click to select the date/time to change the schedule. - Click C (Continue), N (Not Recording) buttons to change the schedule.

47 7.2.5 CMS Setup Save drive Setup the save drive for recording data on connected DVR through CMS Install drive(s) list: shows a drive list of CMS system. Save drive: shows the list of drives to DVR data, transmitted to CMS. Setting up Local Drive 1) Select a drive to save data from Installed drive(s) list 2) Click Add Disk button to add it as Save drive. you can use Recycle drive function when you added more than 2 drives. 48 7.2.6 CMS Setup EMC User can use EMC mode through CMS. EMC mode : when the emergency event happen on the site, the event image is sent to CMS system automatically with multiple or single screen. Enable EMC :checkmark to enable EMC. Select the event mode either by motion or by sensor or control. Auto pop-up : when EMC is activated by motion or sensor/control, the event will come up with monitoring screen or single screen. Enable alarm sound : checkmark to enable alarm sound when EMC is activated. Open the folder and select wave file. EMC activation : after setup is completed, go to monitoring mode. Click log out button, and you can see EMC standby button. Select it, it will go to EMC mode. EMC icon will be generated on the right corner of the bottom. When EMC mode is activated by motion or sensor/control, the event screen will automatically pop-up, and the icon will be turn in red.

49 7.2.7 CMS Setup Other Setup other options on CMS. PAN/TILT Controller Option : If each site is connected with multiple pan/tilt camera, you can choose two options as below. PAN/TILT multi-controller : Operate individual controller for each camera. PAN/TILT single-controller : Operate all pan/tilt cameras to one controller. Tool Tip : If you put on function button with mouse, It will be supported explanation and guide as tooltip type for the function. Digi-Clock display format : User can change to the display order of the watch. Division 1x1image size (Show full screen) : Click double-click on desired screen, you can view a big screen. If you set up Show full screen, the screen will be changed to full screen. Restore setting value from latest registry backup file : If system is not working property or turn it off abnormally, in this case, click Restore and then go back to old setting value. Send list-message board to recycle bin : Send from Message board message to recycle bin. Backup Log : Backup log data. Auto reconnection : If network is unstable or is disconnected during period of time, retry CMS site connection. You can adjust the number of retries and waiting time. Hidden Camera: Use this function when you want to hide camera video. Automatic login : If you want automatic login when CMS operating, check this option. Also, you can make automatic connecting listed on Pre-Memorize Alarm Output: If sensor or motion detection is, play beep or selected wav file.

50 WARRANTY WARRANTY We warrant that our DVR series(product) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date the customer acquires the Product. If such a defect occurs, return the Product to us and we will, at our opinion, either repair or replace Product. This remedy is your exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty. The proof of purchase is required for the warranty.
