1 PRESS INFORMATION Company Profile The Bird Home Automation Group develops, produces and markets high-quality IP video door intercoms under the trademark DoorBird around the world. The company was founded by Sascha Keller and Bernd Müller in Both Founders gathered many years of experience in IP video and IP door communication in well-established companies, e. g. Telecom Behnke GmbH, 1000eyes GmbH and 1000hands AG. The company s headquarters and production plant are located in Berlin, Germany, with a further office in San Francisco, USA. The Bird Home Automation Group employs today over 100 staff worldwide who develop high-performance solutions for intelligent doors. The product portfolio includes future-proof IP video door intercoms which are made from corrosion-resistant precious metals and manufactured in Germany according to the highest quality standards. 2 Our Milestones 2009: Our company launched the world's first door intercom system that works with standard smartphones (ios, Android, Symbian) and desktop clients (Windows) as end devices, under the international brand "1000eyes". 2010: First large-scale project with Siemens Building Technologies. In 2010, SBT started to roll-out our intercom product and technology hundreds of times. SBT used Android tablets as end devices with our App installed on it. The products installed by STB in 2010 are still in operation today, almost a decade after the installation. 2011: Worldwide launch of our new generation of intercom products under the brand "myintercom". 2013: Our company won multiple national and international awards for our innovative technology. 2014: Worldwide launch of our new intercom product line under the brand "DoorBird". 3 DoorBird App With every ringing at the house entrance door, the user receives a push notification on his mobile end device (smartphone or tablet) and can immediately speak to the visitor and see him on his display. The DoorBird products work, among others, with Control4, Loxone, Crestron, Synology, QNAP, AVM FRITZ!fon, URC, RTI, ELAN, Fibaro and Bang & Olufsen. 3

4 DoorBird Product Portfolio The product portfolio of the Bird Home Automation Group includes a wide range of intelligent IP video door intercoms for single-family homes and apartment buildings as well as large residential complexes. From compact entry-level models to classic call button door stations and universal keypad models, every user will find the right door intercom system for his or her home. The call button models are available in different colors and finishes. With the Add-on products, the DoorBird door intercoms receive additional useful functions. The DoorBird D301 converts a conventional analog door intercom system into an IP door intercom system.
