1 APPENDIX A: VOICE LINE AND DEVICE COUNTS BY FACILITY A. Tarrant County primarily uses Plexar service (hosted Centrex) for most of it locations. B. Key telephone systems are in place in nineteen (19) locations. Plexar analog lines are used for trunking connection. C. Tarrant County will not host any legacy telephony platforms post transition to selected solution. D. Plexar supports approximately 2,658 assigned DID s and approximately 1,518 DID s are unassigned. E. Approximately 1,900 VoIP devices are managed on Cisco Call Manager version The make and model of analog handsets vary. F. Handsets are distributed based on the following classifications and percentages: o Ruggedized handsets 1% o Essential-courtesy or open areas 3% o Standard-with voic , Call Control only on 1 device 57% o Executive- with voic , Call Control more than 1 device 24% o Reception/Operator-central answer point for a department or group 8% o Conference rooms 2% o Contact Center agents 5% G. Four-digit dialing is in place between the Plexar (legacy)/key Systems and Call Manager (VoIP). Any distinctions between the two systems are transparent to the customer. H. Plexar provides PSTN connections across twenty (20) central offices. Connections total three-hundred seventeen (317). I. Approximately six (6) Plexar Unified Call Distribution (UCD) groups are in use and a total of eighty-three (83) stations are in use. J. Long distance service is provisioned by AT&T via a DS1 connected the primary Plexar Central Office (CO). Authorization codes are in use at the remote sites. K. All telephony moves, adds, changes, and disconnects (MACD s); telephone-related service calls; troubleshooting; repairs; and other issues that are classified as Tier 1 are completed by Tarrant County Information Technology (IT) staff. Tier 2 support service request and issues are completed by a managed services vendor. L. Invoicing for telephone services, billing issues, credit requests, account setups, and other financial-related services are completed by the Tarrant County IT staff. M. Tarrant County telephone charges are downloaded and allocated within Tarrant County IT staff and distributed to Tarrant County departments through a third-party records repository application. 2 N. E911 for VoIP service is updated manually in the Intrado system by Tarrant County IT staff. AT&T is responsible for 911 updates for the Plexar system. O. Tarrant County will separately contract for approximately 1,000 legacy POTS lines phones for life safety applications, elevators, and fire alarms. P. Eleven (11) PRI s are used for PSTN connectivity Q. Six (6) Cisco Unified Computer system (UCS) C240 hosts are in use for Prime license manager (PLM) server, Corporate Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and IM & Presence servers, Corporate Unity Connection (CUC) servers, UCCE CUCM servers, UCCE IVR servers, Cisco Unified Intelligence Center CUIC servers, and UCCE Intelligent Contact Management (ICM) servers (Roggers, PGs, AWs). R. Approximately four (4) VoIP gateways are in place for digital to analog faxing. Approximately sixteen (16) devices are in use. S. Approximately four-hundred forty (440) call handlers and four (4) directory handlers are in use. T. Cisco WebEX is currently used by some departments for video conference purposes. Approximately thirty-five (35) single host licenses are in place as well as approximately eight (8) Polycom video units, varying in model numbers. WebEx meeting capacity is two hundred (200) participants. U. Tarrant County currently has two hundred ninety-three (293) white page directory listings. V. Cisco phone models currently in use at Tarrant County are: 6901, 6921, 6961, 7821, 7841, 7861, 7910, 7912, 7931, 7937, 7940, 7941, 7942, 7960, 7961, 7962, 8831, 8861, W. Tarrant County s Active Directory environment is currently running at a Domain functional level of Windows 2012 R2. There are replicated servers at both data centers and in the Azure cloud. X. Tarrant County has both Cisco and Polycom speakerphones currently in use. Y. Tarrant County uses ServiceNow as a service ticketing system. The vendor may integrate with this system to streamline support operations. Z. Tarrant County currently has two (2) 800/Toll Free numbers. AA. BB. CC. DD. There is no current integration between Plexar and the Cisco Unified Call Manager cluster. Cisco Unity is our current voic solution. There are sixteen (16) SMDI connections to a Dialogic gateway that send data to Cisco Unity for Plexar users. Tarrant County Information Technology services an average of two hundred (200) MACD service tickets monthly. AT&T Disaster Recovery Service is provisioned on thirty-one (31) telephone numbers. This service allows for Tarrant County to re-route calls to predetermined numbers in the event of a service outage or emergency event. RFP NO APPENDIX A PAGE 2

E. Contact Center is currently in place for approximately 16 users. F. Approximately 1 UCD group and 8 stations are place. 2. Telephony Tim Curry Criminal Justice Center, 401 W. Belknap Street, Fort Worth, TX (10 Floors Includes all levels): A. Plexar service is utilized and approximately 535 phones are connected. B. Approximately 8 VoIP phones are connected. C. Attendant functionality is currently in use on approximately 6 Plexar stations. D. Contact Center is currently in place for approximately 4 users. 3. Telephony 1895 Courthouse, 100 W. Weatherford Street, Fort Worth, TX (5 Floors Includes all levels): A. Plexar service is utilized and approximately 158 phones are connected. B. Approximately 72 VoIP phones are connected. 4. Telephony Administration Building, 100 E. Weatherford Street, Fort Worth, TX (5 Floors Includes all levels): A. Plexar service is utilized and approximately 316 phones are connected. B. Approximately 23 VoIP phones are connected. C. Approximately 1 UCD group and 5 stations are place. Beehive lamp is in place to notify agents of callers in queue. D. Contact Center is currently in place for approximately 12 users. 5. Telephony Family Law, 200 E. Weatherford Street, Fort Worth, TX (5 Floors Includes all levels): A. Plexar service is utilized and approximately 237 phones are connected. B. Approximately 36 VoIP phones are connected. C. Contact Center is currently in place for approximately 36 users.
