1 WALK-IN INTERVIEW A walk-in interview will be held for the position of Senior Research Fellow and RA (System Administrator) at ICAR-IASRI, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi under the project ICAR Data Repository for Knowledge Management on purely contractual temporary basis. The appointment will be on contractual/ temporary basis upto upto 31st March, 2017 or termination of the project whichever is earlier. Details are as under:- Name of the posts Senior Research Fellow (S.R.F.) RA (System Administr ator) Number Qualifications Date and Essential Desirable time of Interview 01 (One) (i) Master s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application / Information Technology/ Informatics or equivalent with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor s degree and 2 years Master s degree should have NET qualification 01 (One) (i) Master degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/Information Technology/Informatics/ Computer Engineering or equivalent with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor s degree having first division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average. (ii) Two year research/maintenance/development experience in system administration in windows/linux Emoluments for SRF: Consolidated Rs /- per month + 30% HRA Good Knowledge of web programming & Database Design, proficiency in.net/java. One year Experience in Software development UNIX/Linux /Windows certification having experience in System administration of Unix/Linux/Windows based Servers, Virtualisation, SAN, Backup and system security. Good knowledge of Database Administration (Oracle/MS SQL Server/MySQL), Configurations of IIS, Apache, Tomcat for different Applications (Drupal, Moodle, Wordpress, Zoomla etc.). Emoluments for RA (System Administrator): Consolidated Rs /- per month + 30% HRA at 10:30 a.m. Age Limit : Age should not be more than 35 years for the post of Senior Research Fellow and 40 years for the post of RA (System Administrator) as on date of interview. (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/ women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as on date of interview. Terms and Conditions:- 1. Interested candidates fulfilling the above qualifications are invited to appear for Walk-In interview at ICAR- Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi , along with filled in application form (as per the format annexed), all the original certificates from matriculation and matriculation onwards, Master degree in computer science/ Computer engineering/ MCA/ M.Sc. certificate (as the case may be) must be produced at the time of interview in either original or provisional, Bio-Data, attested copies of all experience certificates, testimonials etc., one passport size photograph and one set of the self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted onto the application form. 2. Candidates having marks issued in the form of OGPA/CGPA should produce approved conversion table/formula at the time of reporting for interview.

Initial Appointment will be till 31/03/2017 or the termination of the project whichever is earlier, which shall be extended further based on the satisfactory performance of the candidate and requiremnts of the project. 4. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination. 5. Candidates are necessarily required to produce original certificates for verification purposes at the time of interview, which will be returned to them. 6. The selected candidates shall not claim any regular appointement as the position is purely temporary. 7. No TA/ DA will be paid for appearing in interview. 8. Only those candidates will be allowed to appear who have all the original certificates and their photocopies. Candidates who have final marksheets but not their provisional or original certificates of the eligibility degree with them, will NOT be allowed to appear for interview. 9. The candidates are required to submit the application at the time of interview as per the format annexed along with the declaration. 10. The candidate intending to visit for interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IASRI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing as detailed in ANNEXURE-III, before start of the interview. 11. All the other candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration (as detailed in ANNEXURE- I and ANNEXURE-II) duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview. 12. The total number of vacancies may vary depending on other project requirements, if any, on the date of interview. 13. Candidates should produce the No Objection Certificate from their present employer, if any. 14. Decision of Director, ICAR-IASRI, New Delhi will be final and binding in all respects.
