Easy to read and understand, should be able to get someone started with the absolute basics. Probably wasn't right for me but for someone just starting out with no programming background at all, it would be helpful. Terrible - this is a scam. The book starts off with Python but it is really short - really short with very

3 basic definitions and nothing else. Then you get another book about Srum and then another about 10-DAY GREEN SMOOTHIE CLEANSE - yep that is right. Waste of money. This book covers some general information about hacking and gives you also some insight as to how to hack passwords or networks. It is not a book on programming to be clear, rather it gathers the information you need and you have to do further research yourself. That is pretty understandable, given the lenght of the book. If you are up for a quick read with some basic practical information about hacking passwords and networks, this book is definitely for you! I'm computer savvy but not hacking savvy and I hate it when my friends ask me to hack this. Hack someone's Facebook blah blah. So I got this beginner's hacking book just to prove how close to impossible it is. Rather than finding purely info to support my statement, I found some interesting topics like phishing, port scanning and network hacking. It was pretty cool. Not too fancy and advanced compared to a real bootcamp (I attended one!) but decent especially for my situation! It also gave tips at the beginning of the book to those who have no background to programming but want to learn about it. This book is very helpful for those novices out there.
