8 Warning To reduce the risk of fire, connect the Cisco USB device to a certified USB port. 1. Remove the Cisco VT Camera III from the packaging. 2. Position the camera on top of your PC monitor or flat panel screen, adjusting the universal clip as necessary. See Figure 2. 4

Position the camera no more than three feet (1 m) away from you and point it toward you. The camera contains a built-in microphone. See Figure 1 Cisco VT Camera III Features. 10 5. If you use speakers, position them at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from your microphone to reduce feedback. Angle the speakers away from your microphone. 6. Connect your camera to an available USB port on your computer. Your computer will detect a new hardware device and automatically download the camera drivers from the internet.
