4 Status of ehealth in Serbia Up until the year 2000 there was no appropriately structured, operatively efficient information system (the information system was outdated, limited to paper work) Dynamic development has begun in 2003, especially after Cooperation with the World Bank and European Union has resulted in the launch of several projects.

7 IT Rulebook The compliance of the software with the IT Rulebook is mandatory for existing SW solutions and for a new ones. The main parts: - technical requirements - functional requirements for PHC and hospitals - coding systems - minimal data set. 20 EuroRec criteria are included (level 1) Interoperability of the System Support for management

Activites of ProRec Serbia o translated over 400 EuroRec statements in Serbian language o participation in current EuroRec project EHR-Q-TN o support and participation in EuroRec certification process
