2 1 - GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 Aim of the manual This manual has been written by the manufacturer and it is an integral part of the machine. Its information are addressed to the user and contain all Safety Recommendations. Before using this machine, it is recommended that you read this manual carefully, especially if it is the first time, to ensure you know the control devices, their function and position. It is also advisable to make performance tests. This manual must be kept for future references. 1.2 Identification of the machine manufacturer On the machine you can find the identification label of the manufacturer and some information regarding technical data as shown in Pic. 1. N DT-66C3 FIG Technical information The vibrator HERTZ is managed by an electronic control, which allows to select with a potentiometer, the intensity of the vibration of the vibrating plate. This machine is suitable to be used in dental laboratories to vibrate gypsums and coatings to be poured in muffles and cylinders for the castings with the method of "lost-wax" Safety devices The parts of the machine supplied by electricity are protected by fixed guards to avoid access by the operator. Hard carton box. Packaging waste disposal must be done with respect to the environment and the law in force.

3 2.1 Installation instructions The machine must be located on a safe place and on a horizontal position. Make sure there is sufficient air where you position the machine. It is duty of the user to ensure that the electric plant is in accordance with the safety laws in force. It is particular important to make sure that the grounding is well efficient. Furthermore, it is important to verify the network voltage: in case the voltage is too low (lower than 210V), the engine will start too slow and it might be necessary to install a voltage stabilizer. After having placed the vibrator and gone through the above due verifications, follow these instructions: The general switch must be in the OFF (0) position. Connect the power supply plug to a V AC outlet. 3 - USE INFORMATION Performance and Use Please follow carefully the herein instructions as per Pic. 2: 1- Place on the vibrating plate the cylinder (or cylinders) or the muffle, making sure that the vibrator is OFF (pos 0 switch 1). 2- Turn on the vibrator with the switch 1: at the beginning, the intensity of vibration is always very low (at the minimum position) and the display shows value 1. Push the two arrows (UP to increase and DOWN to decrease) to modify the intensity of the vibrating plate in order to obtain the desired value. When the intensity of the vibration increases also the number on the display increases up to the maximum value which is Pour the gypsum or coating, paying attention that no drops of material fall on the plate. 4- It is possible to increase or decrease the intensity of the vibrating plate when the vibrator is working. Maintain the vibrator for the needed time necessary to compact well the material. 5- Turn off the machine and remove the cylinders from the vibrating plate. 6- At the end of the procedure make sure to clean the plate with a dry or slightly humid cloth. 4 - MAINTENANCE INFORMATION 4.1 Ordinary maintenance '' The machine doesn't need any particular maintenance. However, it is advisable to remove dust and clean it with a dry or slightly humid cloth. WARNING: ABSOLUTELY, NEVER LET THE VIBRATOR COME IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH TAP WATER OR ANY OTHER SORT OF LIQUIDS OR DETERGENTS. THIS WILL BE DETRIMENTAL TO THE UNIT AND WILL MAKE THE GUARANTEE INVALID. The machine is not waterproof sealed and the liquids that might come in contact with the electric parts of the unit will cause detrimental damages and danger of electric shock to the user. 4.2 Extraordinary maintenance To repair the machine or replace some of its parts, the user should consult directly the manufacturer or only specialized technicians. Absolutely avoid to open any of the fixed guards without proper precautions. Disconnect the power supply plug from the outlet before any extraordinary maintenance operation. If the user doesn't strictly follow the rules contained in this manual the manufacturer is lifted from any guarantee and responsibility,
