1 Announcements Conductivity meter Manual 1.When using, please comply with the instruction of the operation procedures and the announcements. 2.If find the instrument working abnormally or damaged, please contact the dealer and do not repair by yourself. 3.In order to measure more accurately, the instrument must be often cooperated with the electrode for calibration; if you have purchased electrode for nearly one year or the electrode has some quality problems, please pay attention to replacing a new one. 4.Before calibrating, preheat the instrument for 30 minutes. 5.If the products update, this manual will not give further note. Above is the current measuring value, 25.0 is the current temperature value. 826 ppm mA When switching TDS mode, interface is as above 6.2 Conductivity calibration (1)Zero calibration Connected to the probe, put it in the air, zero alignment. Press the MENU key, enter to zero calibration menu one, as showed below.(note: usually probe zero point is very stable, no need to calibrate) Zero Cal VAL: 1.00us/cm ZERO: 0.00 us/cm (2)Probe constant set Press the MENU key, enter into probe constant Setting menu two, as showed below: Constant set Constant: TemConst:0.02 User should set the constant according to the probe actual constant. 6 Users can switch CD(conductivity)and TDS for a measure of the conductivity and TDS. Press the MENU key, enter into alarming settings menu four. 6.4 Alarm setting Press the MENU key, enter into alarming setting 5-6,as showed below: Relay1 ON: us/cm OFF: us/cm Relay2 ON: 99.9 OFF: 99.9 (1)Relay1 is conductivity/tds alarm output,relay2 is temperature alarm output (2)Relay is greater than the upper limit alarm action, under the below alarm limit release, the relay action figure is as below When relay drive in inductive load, please add intermediate relay. 6.5 Communication(option) 485 COM Set ADD:01 To press ENTER key popup cursor, press DOWN key and UP key to control address(16 into system),and press the ENTER key store data. Press the MENU button to enter the next menu:4-20ma setting. 6.6 Current output set 4-20mA factory output corresponding conductivity value is us/cm, but users can according to their own requirements, arbitrary set corresponding value to meet the

7 needs of industrial control. Press the ENTER key to move the cursor to the number that needs adjustment, press DOWN key, UP key to adjust data, and then press the ENTER key to store data, and jump to the next data that needs to be adjusted. Press the MENU button to enter the next menu. Press ENTER popup the cursor, move the cursor, you can press UP and DOWN key. Press ENTER to store data, press the MENU button to enter into the next level menu. 8 Instrument is the automatic temperature compensation mode. The temperature compensation is NTC10K,when there is not temperature compensation, the display is Probe maintenance (1)Measuring probe is precision components and can t decomposable, don t change the probe shape and size, and don t use with acid, alkali to clean it, in order not to change the probe and affect the measuring accuracy. (2)Measuring cable should be the special cable, can t be changed.
