With the FlexoMatrix stereotype mounting machine, you have available to you a technology platform that connects to your existing infrastructure and supports you in the growing requirements of modern label production. The increasing number of short production runs leads to an increase in prepress form mountings and more frequent job changes in the print shop. 4 Increasing productivity in prepress and press Precise stereotype mounting onto the printing cylinder is a challenge. If register marks are the only mounting aids in use, the circumferential register quality remains undefi ned. The entire register is fundamentally important for set up time, waste, quality and economic effi ciency of the entire job. There is also pressure due to an increasing lack of experienced and qualifi ed prepress workers. LEHNER FlexoMatrix was developed to optimise the economic effi ciency of your print job. The system features a fl exible interface for existing job management and controlled mounting the basis for the register default, even in the circumferential register. Data connectivity The workfl ow concept built on the FlexoMatrix uses your existing data infrastructure. With the connectivity of Flexo- Matrix with your work preparation, the job relevant data already applied (e.g. format, cylinder type, offset, ) can be directly transferred to the FlexoMatrix. Repeated manual entries of job information in the mounter can be avoided and operating errors minimised. The described connectivity additionally enables FlexoMatrix to automatically identify each individual print form. The job relevance of the print form can thereby be checked using your job database. You gain important job process transparency and the assurance that the possibility of a mix up of print forms from different jobs is minimized, thereby protecting product quality. Controlled mounting Another unique feature of the FlexoMatrix is the actively controlled mounting process. This innovation ensures that your stereotype will be mounted and optimised to the register, not only in the circumferential register but also over the entire printing length. The patented control procedure is full automated and extremely precise. You not only gain from the operator-independent precision but also from the consistent mounting quality. 5 Simple operation, quick results FlexoMatrix can be adapted to different cylinder types within seconds with the aid of the cylinder adapter. This means that, with the FlexoMatrix system, all print shop printing machines / printing form cylinders in operation can be equipped to be register optimised. A further advantage: Alongside incredible precision, the high level of automation offers fast, reproducible print form mounting within ca. 60 seconds (depending on format).
