T 9 95 Securiton / Sad Description Sector: EMA Participant: MCU / MCU A Purpose: Central processing unit of Securi- Pro Applicability: VdS, PIZ, Global Component of: MCU x, PSU x, SecuriLan Software Version: from release The MCB 0B is the central processing unit for SecuriLan and SecuriLine. It monitors and controls the connected devices and participants and is the source of the system power supply. The MCB 0B is a component of the basic configuration of the MCU x for EMA according to VdS and PIZ. Function The MCB 0B controls and monitors the functions of the MCU /x. The following voltage circuits are controlled and monitored: Interruption-free mains / accu switching Low discharge protection Accu monitoring by load test at regular intervals (0 min). Accu charging and regulation, A for 6 Ah and,5a for 40 Ah Accus. Supply voltage distribution and monitoring of the connected SecuriLan - and SecuriLine -units and monitored fuse protection of the optional outputs. Monitoring of short to earth 5 V DC voltage regulation of the electronics Data backup by means of lithium batteries The following processor functions are available: A 6 bit main processor with a clock frequency of 0 MHz. RAM (JC 400) as data memory with a capacity of 4 Mbit (5 Kbytes) (data backup with ). RAM (JC 500) as parameter memory with a capacity of 4 Mbit (5 Kbytes) (data backup with ). Mode Baud UAD RS Important Danger The lithium battery must not be inserted until the MCB 0B is put into operation. If the MCB 0B is out of operation for a long time (current switched off for longer than 48 hours), the battery must be removed. The volatile data, event memory, alarm counter and system parameters are deleted. Inserting and replacing the lithium battery The battery must be inserted or replaced if the MCB 0B is supplied from the MCU power supply. No data are lost as a result. Life The life of the lithium battery is usually max. 0 years, or a total of 40 hours of backup operation. Inserting and replacing the IC 400 and IC 500 The Ics may be replaced or inserted only in the voltage-free state. Switch off 4 V DC supply and connect lithium battery jumper to "Normal". Important! On delivery of the MCU /x, the MCB 0B is already installed. Danger information The MCB 0B is sensitive to static charges. The following measures must be strictly complied with: The MCB 0B must be disconnected from the power supply before any work is performed When changing the MCB or parts thereof (IC, battery, fuses), it is necessary to ensure that no static discharges can take place on the MCB. Connection The connections of the installation of the MCB 0B are via pluggable terminal blocks or connectors. The following connections are present: Top; connections for voltage supply Left side; terminals for options and SecuriLan Terminal row for digital inputs/outputs Plug connections for input and output options Right side; connectors for SCB 0(A) and commissioning Danger information No connections on the MCB 0B may be soldered.
