2 Warning / Caution Warning Warning When installing the main unit, do not remove or alter existing vehicle fasteners, including nuts, bolts, screw, clips, and fittings. Never detach, move or alter existing vehicle wiring, including electrical grounds and straps. Alteration of existing vehicle components may make vehicle unsafe to operate. Should be no any electronic devices or magnetic pole around installation place. Air bags are vital part of a safety system. Never install main unit in a way which will alter air bag wiring or interfere with air bag deployment. Air bags must function properly in the event of an accident. Before installing, check the location of pipe, tank, electrical cables and others. Read and follow the instruction manual.. The location of cables should not interfere the driver s sight. Attach the insulating tape on the edge of the cables even if they are not used. When the installation is complete, test whether all vehicle electrical systems operate correctly, including lights, horn, brake lights, and emergency flashers. According to our sales policy, any problems caused by user s mistake, careless can not be guaranteed. All steps of installation should be done by well-trained specialist. During installation, an ignition key should be taken off. When link the cables, power cable should be connected to interface last. Do not install the main unit in places where exposed to dew condensation (around the air conditioning hose, etc), or in places where it may n contact with water, high levels of moisture, dust or oily smoke Install wiring in a manner in which cables do not contact with metal parts. The wiring may be damaged by contact with metal parts, resulting in fire and shocks. Avoid all contact with hot surfaces when wiring the main unit. High temperatures may damage wiring, causing shorts, arcing and fires. Kindly check all parts are in the box, when receiving the product, if anything missing, inform to the supplier or manufacturer. 2

19 3. Setup 3.6 Parking Guide Line FACTORY mode Press the left button for 2 seconds on the remote 1 Factory Mode PARK mode PARK ENABLE ON. (Initial data ON) 3 When the setting of H_POS is done, press the OK button to see V-POS on the left of screen. Then, the user can move the parking guide line vertically. 2 After shifting into reverse, you will see the parking guide line as above. If you press the OK button, H-POS will appear on the left of screen. Then, the user can move the parking guide line horizontally. 19

20 4. Trouble Shooting Q. Unable to change the picture mode A. Check connection of Ground cable or IR cable Check whether LED lamp is on, if not, check the connection of POWER cable Q. In case of showing black screen A. Check second LED lamp of the interface is on, if not, first, test whether A/V cable works properly. Then, check A/V cables are linked to the interface well. Q. In case of showing abnormal color on the screen.(too black or strange color) A. Press the button for 2 seconds. If the screen doesn t show the right color, please contact the manufacturer. Q. In case of not showing the image from the rear camera A. Put DIP switch #7 on. Q. When the skip mode doesn t work A. Check whether you set DIP switch properly. Q. In case of not showing the OEM mode A. Check the connection of the interface s In / Out cable, if it maintains the same situation, please contact the manufacturer. Q. When the screen turns white A. Check whether LCD s Out cable is well connected, if it maintains the same situation, please contact the manufacturer. Each vehicle model has its own Head unit(command) and Monitors. So, please check their size or specification before the installation. In case of connecting LVDS cable, please link Ground extension cable to the screw on the interface outside -Otherwise, the interference of external electromagnetic wave may occur 20
