5 Cables Programming Cable for MVP Pro & T-Code The new master cable is ideal for searching for the OBD socket inside the vehicle. Simply press the button located on connector housing and a bright LED light will illuminate the vehicle s OBD socket - helping you to connect easily. Note: The battery used for the LED master cable has changed from 23E 12V to CR1220 3V This cable is an optional addition to the DC250 Master Cable. Due to the physical size of the connector housing, this cable may not be compatible for certain vehicles. (DC250 should be used in these cases) DC251 Programming Cable Special Order VG Instrument Reset Cable DC219 VG cable connects to the D pro tester and the vehicle s OBD port and is specifically used in a lost key situation for various VG group vehicles. See info Quest for full list of models supported. You will also require DS230 software (VG Instrument Reset) for use with DC219 cable. The transponder type used will depend on the brand and geographic region where you are working, and precode data may be unique to each vehicle chassis.
