Ergonomic, practical design Air4 Plus has a rubber surround that offers protection and makes it comfortable to grip and operate, whilst the lanyard means it s easy to attach to a key ring. Available in grey. Compact and hardwearing Air4 Plus is light and compact enough to fit comfortably in the pocket and takes up no room in the car. 6 WITH PC Operating modes Easy Scan Plus can operate in two ways: Stand Alone. Connected to a PC using the special software programme Air4 Remote Programming Software downloadable from STAND ALONE

7 STAND ALONE Stand Alone function Identifies the frequency and code type of the original remote (fixed or rolling code). Signals whether it is possible to duplicate the remote and, if yes, which Silca Air4 remote to use. Checks that the new remote duplicated corresponds with the original. Operates as a frequency meter to read the frequency of the original and copied remotes. Tunes the signal intensity of quartz remotes. All the functions of the original Easy Scan are included.

8 WITH PC Functions using a PC and the Air4 Programming Software (optional) Offers a range of unique and special functions essential for a professional remote duplication service. Updates the internal software of Easy Scan Plus and Air4 Plus remotes. 11 DEVICE REGISTRATION Air4 Programming Software Easy Scan Plus Registration To use the Air4 Remote programming Software the EasyScan Plus must be registered. The customer supplies the serial number of their Easy Scan Plus and a VALID address using the Settings link on the software homepage and then clicks on Check Registration/Activation. SETTINGS

12 Air4 Programming Software Software Activation To benefit from all the advanced features that the "Air4 Programming Software" offers, an activation code must be purchased (Order code D747834ZB). To activate the software follow the instructions supplied in the Software Activation pack (illustrated).

15 Easily identify an original remote The software programme contains an extensive database of original remotes that can be searched by make, model, frequency, type of remote (fixed or rolling) etc. Photos of each original remote make the search even easier.

16 Easy copying mode The Easy Scan Plus software guides you through the identification and copying of an original remote. The software then suggests the appropriate Silca Air4 remote to use. No need to programme the buttons one at a time. For many remotes set one push button and the other 3 are programmed automatically. Different functions can be programmed for different buttons or the same function can be programmed onto all 4 buttons.

17 Copy one or more push buttons from the original remote simply by dragging and dropping onto the chosen button on the new Air4 Plus remote. Drag and drop feature to order the push buttons The push buttons can be set simply by dragging and dropping from the original remote to the new remote on the PC. Functions from one or more original remotes can be copied in this way onto the new remote. A button function from the original remote can be copied onto all the buttons of the new Silca remote.

18 Manage and personalize remote parameters The following parameters can be modified: Frequency Button code Button rolling code counter Remote Rolling code counter Installer code These functions offer the installer the possibility to fine tune the new remote to optimize its performance.

19 Generation of a new remote without need of the original The most common fixed and rolling codes remotes can be generated without need of the original thanks to the extensive database available in the software. Perfect for replacing lost, damaged or worn remotes.

20 Copying and generating new DIP Switch remotes Copy or generate new remotes through the internal DIP switch even for lost or damaged remotes. New copies can be easily generated from the software database.
