SITRANS FUE950 ha been developed for the SITRANS FUS380/FUE380 and alternative MAG 5000/6000. SITRANS FUE950 i modular in contruction and can by order be fitted with optional module depending on the application. SITRANS FUE950 can be ued for up to m 3 /h. 2 Siemen AG 2008 SITRANS F flowmeter Deign SITRANS FUE950 ha an eay-read 8-digit LCD diplay with aociated pictogram for the variou function. A the diplay ha been made for everal application, there will be figure/ ymbol which are not ued for normal ditrict heating application. SITRANS FUE950 ha only one operating button. The diplay will alway be configured for the application choen, and for the elected diplay etting. In normal operation, the diplay will how cumulative energy value. Diplay and output pule Unit: kwh (only DN50, Q p =15, 30), MWh, GJ; all decimal point are tatically. The place after the decimal point of diplayed value are indicated by the elected ize and flow rate. The lat decimal point are ued a the pule value and unit for the optional output module. Function Technical Calculation of energy i baed on the following formula: Energy = Volume x (T Hot - T Cold ) x K factor (T i ) Volume: Volume [m 3 ] of a given amount of water T Hot : Meaured temperature in the flow T Cold : Meaured temperature in the return K factor (T i ): Thermal coefficient of enthalpy and heat content The energy calculation i made by a counter and depend on flowmeter ize, pule frequency and legal requirement. The calculator alway carrie out at leat one energy calculation every 10 minute if the flowmeter ha not ent enough pule to prompt an energy calculation. Permanent memory/account date reading The LOG of the calculator i read every 10 minute with all cumulative value: Date, Σ energy, Σ water, Σ record 1 and 2, peak value of energy or flow, counter record A and B, date/time and info code. Energy/volume Maximum Energy and volume can be outputted for the previou three month with aociated date when the maximum power occurred. Integration time can be et to 15, 30 or 60 minute. Standard factory etting: peak volume: 15 minute.; peak energy: 60 minute. Error handling If SITRANS FUE950 record an error, thi will be indicated by a!. The following error can be detected: F1 Forward temperature enor i interrupted or hort-circuited. F2 Return temperature enor i interrupted or hort-circuited. F3 Internal equipment error. F Differential temperature high and no flow for 8 hour. F5 Water flow exceed preet Q. Zero point calibration of differential temperature (only type CF/CR) Cooling ytem alway operate with a mall Δt and a relatively high flow rate. For technical reaon no enor pair provide completely accurate temperature difference meaurement when the enor temperature difference between forward and return flow i cloe to zero. SITRANS FUE950 type CF/CR contain a pecial zero point calibration routine that can be activated in order to minimize the temperature difference meauring failure. Normally the zero point calibration i not needed, but can be activated out in order to obtain maximum accuracy in the energy calculation. The zero point calibration function require a hort circuit between forward and return enor in the cooling ytem e.g. by intalling a valve V1 (See application drawing). Optical output SITRANS FUE950 i fitted with an optical infra-red end/receive port in accordance with IEC Protocol tandard, EN (M-bu protocol). A reader head with a permanent magnet in accordance with EN 13 can be ued for programming/altering programming of readout data, configuration data, etc. The reader head can alo be ued to change meauring data. Add-on module BUS communication SITRANS FUE950 need a pecial adapter cable to communicate with a PC. To acce the terminal, it i neceary to ue one of the upplementary module pule output or input module, which, in addition to pecific terminal - both have 3 terminal for connection to a PC. Pule output module Module contain 3 terminal for DATA, REQUEST and GND. There are alo 2 x 2 terminal for CE, CV/Alarm. Both output are galvanically eparated. Pule equence CE: 1 pule per change in the leat ignificant digit in the energy unit and reolution elected. Pule input module/flow 2 If flowmeter 2 i ued in a heating ytem, flowmeter 1 mut alway be placed in the flow and flowmeter 2 in the return. M-bu module The M-bu protocol i in accordance with EN 13-3 and EN For communication with an M-bu, it i neceary to fit SITRANS FUE950 with an add-on module. 6 Siemen AG 2008 SITRANS F flowmeter Schematic Electrical connection for SITRANS FM electromagnetic flowmeter MAG 5000/6000 and SITRANS FUE950 in combination 2 reitor are required to obtain a correct tranmiion of pule, when MAG 5000/6000 i connected together with a SITRANS FUE950 a a heat meter. The 2 reitor are to be mounted between terminal 57 and 58 in the MAG terminal ocket. Moreover, the reitor ued are repectively 10 kω and 1.5 kω. Reitor are not part of our acceorie lit.
