Analog output / function generator Customizable up to 1000 channels DEWESoft7 included! Isolation The SIRIUS measurement instrument series features 1kV optical isolation and input protection. Customizable You are able to freely configure the amplifiers you need (e.g. 4x ACC, 2x HV, 2x STG). SIRIUS slices can be cascaded from 8 to 1000 channels. Special input connectors can be manufactured on request. Dual-Core ADC With the new AD converter technology you benefit in two ways: don t care about the input range, just connect the sensor and start, there is no over-range (no clipping) possible any more! And due to the two ADCs you achieve a dynamic input range of 160 db! Ruggedized All connectors are lockable and there are no wires inside! And if using the S-Box (the computer box) there is a flash disk instead of a standard hard disk drive inside. No movable parts, fast writing speed and fast data access! 6 Minitaur (DS-101) APPLICATIONS MINITAUR (DS-101) Features Mobile applications The DEWE-101 is a small mobile measurement system, with its 1.8kg it offers great connectivity (WLAN, LAN, USB, VGA ), the wide-range power supply is ideal for automotive use. All-in-one measurement instrument (internal rugged PC) 200 ks/s aliasing-free 24 bit-adc 8 analogue input channels (bridge, voltage, IEPE, thermo,... with MSI adapters) 8 precise real time counters 2 CAN bus ports isolated DEWESoft7 included! Internal GPS With the internal GPS (1Hz or 100Hz), using differential RTK, 2cm resolution is possible! This allows wireless synchronization of multiple devices far away from each other to absolute time. Any signal, any sensor Minitaur has 8 multisensor inputs (strain, voltage), but with MSI adapters also IEPE, RTD and thermocouples can be used. The versatile 8 counter inputs can handle tacho / encoder as well as pure digital signals. The synchronous supercounters work with nsec resolution! The 2 CAN bus ports are optically isolated. Powerful With the modern Core2Duo processor and a flash drive with up to 256GB there is more than sufficient power for your math calculations during measurement. Ruggedized For heavy environmental applications we offer the fanless version with high shock proof specifications (50g). MIL-STD-810D, EN :2008, EN : 1997 (class 2M2), EN :2009 approved! 6

8 APPLICATIONS DEWE-43A DEWE-43A Features Small USB-based system 8 analogue input channels (strain, voltage; with MSI adapters any input) 200 ks/s aliasing-free 24bit-ADC 8 precise real time counters 2 CAN bus ports isolated DEWESoft7 included! Machinery diagnostics Because of its small, handy form factor the DEWE-43 is often used by service technicians in error diagnostics on machines and engines all over the world. Universal inputs The 8 analogue inputs can handle voltage and full bridge natively. IEPE, RTD, thermocouples and higher voltages with the adapters. Just connect the MSI and the software will automatically detect it and configure the input for the correct measurement type. 2 CAN bus ports Connect to the vehicle CAN, OBDII, J1939 or to CAN sensors using the optically isolated highspeed CAN ports. Precise counters The 8 counter inputs consist of 3 digital lines, therefore you can use up to 24 digital inputs. Counters work on a MHz time base, therefore the angle resolution of the encoder (tacho, geartooth, linear encoder ) is even higher than the sample rate. And all in perfect sync to the other inputs. Made of a solid block Is it rugged? You bet. We CNC each one out of a solid block of aluminum, so it s tough as nails. Only Dewesoft builds instruments this way. 8

11 DS-NET DS-NET Data logger capability... by simply adding an USB stick at the interface module (gate) you get an powerful data logger with up to 64 GB storage capability. The data can be post processed by DEWESoft or any other calculation software (Excel, Mathlab,...) Measure anything DS-NET modules are available for almost any type of input and output signals. Measure voltage, resistance, current, thermocouple, CAN bus, frequency, counter, pulse width, time, status and the list goes on... Option: DS-NET CPU The DS-NET CPU adds a full-featured PC to your DS-NET system and turns it into a complete instrument. The CPU module enables you to run DEWESoft software locally. The module includes an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz CPU with 1 GB RAM and a 64 GB flash disk. It connects to DS-GATE via Ethernet and offers further interfaces like 4x USB, WLAN and DVI. 12 DEWESoft DS-NET DEWESoft DEWESoft is the solution to acquire signals simultaneously from different sources even with different sampling rates, display and store them in one file. With the new post-processing feature of DEWESoft 7, this processing power can now also be used for the already stored data. Choose from a lot of prepared instruments... Measure Scope Recorder FFT Video Export Print... and compose your own instrument screen! Data processing capabilities are one of the key points of DEWESoft. Over the past years we have covered lots of application areas with expert modules, so that the user is only a click away from the total solution.
