The device is designed for installation on DIN top hat rails (in accordance with EN 60715) Power reserve (10 years) is redced if memory card is inserted (sing battery power) Corresponds to type 1 STU nach IEC/EN Zero-cross switching for relay-saving switching and high lamp loads! Memory card: Avoid mechanical overload and contamination dring storage/transportation 2. Proper se The astronomic time switch is sed, for instance, for lighting eqipment (roads, external staircases, display windows, entrances etc.) Only for se in closed, dry rooms!! 11 Initial start-p ¾Set langage, contry, town/city, date, time as well as smmer/winter time (SO-WI) ¾Press any btton and follow on-screen instrctions (see figre) 5. Settings and fnctions ASTRO men In the ASTRO men astro times, complete simlation, offset, astromode as well as position (location) can be viewed or changed. Astro times Display of the astro times (inclding the offsets) for the crrent day Total simlation Display of the switching behavior with a freely selectable Start date (the holiday program is not displayed) Offset The offset (adjstment vale) can be sed to shift calclated astro times +/ 120 min. This enables the Astro switch-on and switch-off times to be adapted to local circmstances (e.g. montains, high bildings etc.) or to personal reqirements. 11
12 Astro mode Evenings on, mornings off Switches on at snset, switches off at snset (Example: street lighting) Evenings off, mornings on Switches off at snset, switches on at snrise (Example: terrarim). Astro inactive The astro times are ineffective (timer fnction only). Position Location set by selecting a city or by coordinates (latitde/longitde, time zone). The memory card allows p to 10 frther cities (= favorites) to be entered. 12

MENU OPTIONS OPERATING HOUR EXT INPUT LANGAGE PIN FACTORY SETTINGS INFO NO PIN WITH PIN CURRENT PIN NEW PIN 00:00 Setting manal or permanent switching Manal and permanent switching can be set sing the men in MANUAL or (in the atomatic screen) by key combination (see fig). Manal control Reversing the channel stats to the next atomatic or programmed switching. Permanent switching As long as a permanent switching (on or off) is activated, the programmed switching times are ineffective. 19

If the nmber of operating hors exceeds the vale set in the Service men, SERVICE will appear in the display. Example: Replace a lamp after 5,000 h. ¾Delete operating hors or set a higher vale in Service (e.g. to 10,000 h) Using the memory card L L The memory card is not inclded in the scope of spply of the device, bt can be ordered as an accessory. 20
21 All fnctions can also be set on the PC sing the OBELISK software and transferred to the device via the memory card. ¾Insert memory card in the time switch ¾Read in/ot saved switching times and device setps in the time switch or start Obelisk program ¾Remove memory card after copying etc.!! Avoid mechanical overload and contamination dring storage/transport Copy OBELISK Time switch Copies all switching programs and settings from the time switch to the memory card.
