Downtime Critical Motors When replacement motors are pre-wired with Switch-Rated devices, a mechanic can safely change-ot a motor by simply nplgging the old motor and re-plgging in a new one. Pmp Connections Sbmersible pmps, float pmps, and process pmps can be safely and qickly disconnected and reconnected with Switch-Rated plgs and receptacles. Disconnecting a Switch-Rated plg and receptacle is a NFPA 70E defined Normal Operation. No PPE is reqired.
