The CVN300 power converter is a single phase AC to DC power supply for applications in entry-level server computer systems, and meets the specifications for the Server Systems Infrastructure. The power supply is internally cooled with a variable speed fan, which can also be utilized for system cooling, with fan control and monitoring signals provided.

4 4 of 8 Power Timing Output voltages reach their nominal settings within 0.5 seconds after power on. The output voltage rises from 10% to within regulation limits in a maximum of 70msec when operated into full load (resistive) on each output. The rise time of +3.3V and +5V track in such a way that the difference does not exceed 2.25V at any time during turn on. The +3.3V, +5V and +12V reach regulation within 100msec of each other.
