3 GW1000-DHP1 DF1 TO DH+ NETWORK ALTERNATIVE / REPLACEMENT FOR 1770-KF2, 1784-P(KTX), 1784-PCMK OR SST 5136-SD The DataLink GW1000-DHP1 is a low cost, compact alternative to Allen-Bradley s 1770-KF2. Also provides the same functionality as the 1784-P(KTX), 1784-PCMK or SST 5136-SD.The DataLink converts A-B DF1, (Modbus & ASCII also available) serial protocol to A-B DH+ network protocol providing a serial interface to DH+ for computers, modems and OEM equipment. 4 GW1000-DHPA ASCII TO DH+ NETWORK (DH+ ASCII) The newest DataLink GW1000-DHPA (ASCII DH+) is an amalgamation of two existing products: the DL3000-ASM and the DL3000-ASC. The improved compact freestanding ASCII serial interface gives customers the ability to send as well as receive ASCII messages via A-B Data Highway Plus (DH+). The DL3000-ASM facilitates ASCII data transfer to any PLC including models without an ASCII port, such as A-B s ControlLogix. A block of data is temporarily stored in the ASM s 240-byte buffer until the buffer is filled or an ASCII carriage return is detected in the data. Once the data is terminated, the bytes are transmitted to the PLC s integer files in DH+ protocol format. All bytes are retransmitted in the order they were received minus the carriage return. The DL3000-ASM now has the added functionality of the DL3000-ASC, enabling ASCII messages stored in PLC-5 data tables to be transferred over DH+ (Data Highway Plus) to a serial printer or message display. The -ASM is specifically designed to buffer DH+ (Data Highway Plus) message commands sent to its station address from any PLC-5. The transmitted ASCII bytes are then flipped to produce messages on the printer in the same order as the ASCII data is entered and displayed in the PLC. 6 GW1000-DHPM Modbus to DH+ Network (Modbus to DH+) The DataLink GW1000-DHPM provides high speed interconnectivity between an Allen-Bradley DH+ and a Modbus network. The -DH+/Modbus can be any station on DH+ and can be set to either Modbus Master or Modbus Slave. Master mode enables any DH+ station to read / write up to 100 words (per message) to any 4xxxx or 0xxxx register, and to read up to 100 words from the 1xxxx and 3xxxx registers at any Modbus Slave address from 1 to 255. 18 GW1000-DH485A Ascii to DH-485 Network (DH-485 Ascii) The DataLink GW1000-DH485A is a compact, DinRail ASCII Gateway to A-B DH-485 network protocol. It provides an ASCII interface to PLC s on the DH-485 Network for printers, bar code scanners, and other ASCII devices. In Scanner operation the ASCII data is stored in the buffer until either a terminating character (CR, LF, CR & LF) or 240 bytes are received. The packet of ASCII data is then sent to an integer file in the PLC. In Printer operation, data stored in PLC ASCII files can be outputted to printers or message displays with a simple write command to the GW1000.
