7 History Founded in part of the library was evacuated to Russia the stock of the library became the property of the library of the University of Latvia the Riga Polytechnical Institute was reestablished and the library with 140,000 books too the library of the Riga Polytechnical Institute was renamed the Scientific Library of the RPI library was renamed the Scientific Library of Riga Technical University. 35 Collaboration with researchers RTU Open Access repository administration. RTU Scientific library is responsible for Open Access repository administration: Researcher confirms to deposit publication as OA attaches full text chooses the type of CC license deposits the publication Administrator (librarian) receives an about new OA publication checks the metadata and corrects the information if necessary checks the archiving policy of the publisher allows or declines to publish article in OA repository full text of the article is publicly available RTU Scientific library is responsible for all publications in RTU Research Information System, not only for Open Access articles. RTU staff self-archive all publications. RTU Scientific Library checks the quality of data. Librarian checks every publication, corrects the data, if necessary, and adds missing ISSN, ISBN, DOI or links to the electronic version of article. Librarians also indicate database, where article is published. Librarian deletes the duplicates. There are special addresses for RTU researchers to ask questions about adding publications to RTU Research Information System and Open Access repository. They can also make calls to special mobile phone numbers. 35
