4 1.1. Insulation Resistance Test Test Report Test Method / Specification : The insulation resistance is to be measured between supply terminals and earth. Any filters installed between circuit and earth to avoid problems with EMI may be removed before the test. Prior to insulation test A, the EUT is to reach its equilibrium state at normal ambient condition with no power on. Test voltage and minimum insulation resistance is given in table A Check Condition and Requirements: The Insulation Resistance test comprises two tests: Test A: which is an initial test. Test B: which is to be carried out within one hour after Damp Heat Test, Cold Test, Salt Mist Test and High Voltage test. 6 1.2. High Voltage Test Test Method / Specification : This test serves to demonstrate that the dielectric characteristics at the electrical connections of the EUT meet the requirements of the test standard. Separate circuits are to be tested against each other, and all circuits connected to each other are to be tested against earth. Contact pieces are to be tested across their open points of contacts. In case contact pieces which, owing to engineering reasons, show very small opening distance at the point of contact. Printed circuit boards with electronic components that could be damaged, may be removed during the high voltage test Check Condition and Requirements: The high voltage test level is shown in table below. 8 1.3. Protection against accidental access to dangerous voltage Test Method / Specification : According to IEC Check Condition and Requirements: For low-voltage equipment (Rated voltages not exceeding 1000V a.c and 1500V d.c) the test finger shall be connected to a low-voltage supply (of not less than 40V and not more than 50V) in series with a suitable lamp connected between the access probe and the hazardous parts inside the enclosure Test Result : Adequate clearance shall be found between the access probe and the hazardous parts. For the low voltage test, the lamp shall not light. Protection against accidental access to dangerous voltage There is no ventilation opening,so the hazards voltage can not be accessed. Test Result Pass 1.4. Excessive conditions of power supply Test Method / Specification : According to IEC (IEC ) Check Condition and Requirements: There are three test items in excessive conditions: 1. Excessive current test Set the external power supply current protection to 18.34A (24Vdc). EUT was went into protection condition. Page 8 of 14

9 2. Excessive voltage test Set the external power supply voltage to 48Vdc, and connect to power input terminal on EUT. The DC power module will protect and into latch off mode. 3. Power supply misconnection The EUT connect an input from a 24V power supply of reversed polarity for a period of 5min Test Result : 1. Excessive current test After the test, the EUT was subjected to High Voltage Test for one minute. After EUT reset, and check performance under normal test conditions. 10 There [ was not ] indication of breakdown. After EUT reset, performance check ok under normal conditions. 2. Excessive voltage test Power shall be adjusted to cause activation of the protection and after EUT reset, and check performance under normal test conditions. After EUT reset, performance check ok under normal conditions. 3. Power supply misconnection After completion of the test, and reset of the protection of the EUT, the power supply shall be connected normally and a performance check shall be carried out. Power supply misconnection EUT performance shutdown, after power misconnection. EUT performance check ok, after reset under normal condition. EUT was not indication of breakdown.
