The blue LED display is easy-to-read from a distance and allows rapid access to the aggregate load on the circuit. It easily prevents circuit overloads during equipment installation and allows users to plan the capacity based on actual real time current monitoring. Blue LED indicator also allows easy local reading of current, especially when there is no lighting installed inside the rack. Dual Feed Metered PDU s available Rack Power Management 3

Metered & Outlet Switched (WS) PDU A rack mount PDU which has the above Monitored (W) functionality in addition to IP network connectivity to enable users to switch or control individual outlets or IT equipment within the cabinet. Outlet Switched with Outlet Metering (WSi) PDU A rack mount PDU with IP network connectivity that allows users to switch individual outlets and meter individual outlet or equipment consumption. Field Replaceable Digital Local Touchscreen Display A field replaceable RMS current meter with 2.8 colour LCD display with touch screen functionality. The field replaceable display design helps eliminate maintenance downtime by simply replacing a possible defective meter without a service interruption. For increased visibility and ease of access the display is positioned at the top of the PDU. High Metering Accuracy The sharp and highly visible display of the colour LCD provides local data of: Current (AMP) Voltage (Volt) Power (KW) Energy Consumption (kwh) Power Factor of entire PDU This data has a metering accuracy to within +/- 1%. Single or Three Phase W Series Intelligent PDU s are available in 3-Phase. Phase voltage balance, Custom configurations available. Multiple Outlet Configurations Multiple outlet configurations per each individual PDU e.g. One vertical PDU with 2xUK, 20xC13, 4xC19 outlets. Coloured PDU Power Feed Differentiation The use of colours at the intelligent rack PDU and cord level has become a huge market trend with most organisations favouring different colours in the cabinet for the A & B or primary and redundant feeds into equipment. PDU chassis available in: Black / White / Blue / Red / Yellow / Green / Orange / Purple. Field Replaceable DC Module Given the mission critical nature of the environment the intelligent rack PDU is designed, built and manufactured to provide extremely high levels of resiliency. In addition to the hot swappable digital local touchscreen display, field replaceable DC power modules are used within the Metered & Outlet Switched (WS) PDU and the Outlet Switched with Outlet Metering (WSi) PDU models to avoid unnecessary downtime. Circuit Breakers Protected load segments for increased reliability Overload switch Designed with fully shrouded protective cover to prevent accidental ON / OFF operation Environmental Sensors The module features 2 x environmental plug in ports for temperature and humidity monitoring. The most typical sensors usually combine Temperature & Humidity allowing users to significantly reduce the number of required network data ports and IP addresses at the rack level. IP Dongle (SNMP) Hot pluggable IP dongle provides IP remote access to the PDUs using a single IP Address chain. Only 1 x IP dongle is required to access a maximum of 16 x PDUs in a daisy chain. Latching Relays To protect mission critical equipment from unplanned downtime, socket switching is controlled via bistable / latching relays. Ensuring an always on operational performance and socket status returning to a pre-power outage after a planned or unplanned shutdown. Power consumption during normal/standard operation is low and therefore assists to reduce energy usage of the overall PDU. Thermal Resettable Fuse PDUs are available with the option of individually fused IEC outlets, to help prevent an overload of the active equipment and avoiding short circuiting the entire IEC outlet PDU. It is common for mission critical devices to apply primary and secondary power sources. However, some network devices and entry-level servers are not designed with power redundancy. For single corded equipment, Austin Hughes InfraPower ATS is perfectly fit to provide dual power sources (primary and secondary). If the primary source becomes unavailable, it switches to the secondary power source seamlessly.
