1 DISASTER PREPAREDNESS TASK FORCE Our Mission To become a resource for member financial institutions by providing helpful tools and information to their business continuity/disaster preparedness personnel, which may be useful in preparing for disaster events that could impact lives, property and the environment caused by natural and manmade hazards within our communities and state Task Force Chairman: M. Kiley Jenkins, Clear Mountain Bank Task Force Vice Chairman: Clara Mullins, City National Bank The only thing harder than preparing for a disaster is explaining why you didn t Bank customers and staff in Moore, Oklahoma survived a devastating tornado in 2013 after taking refuge in the secure vault. The two mile-wide storm damaged 2,400 homes and left 24 people dead. Among the stacks of cash and other precious goods, 14 bank employees and 8 customers hid during the storm and walked away entirely unharmed. 1
