Learning from past experience to improve future infrastructure public-private partnerships is a focal issue for policy makers, financiers, implementers, and private sector stakeholders. An extensive body of case studies and lessons learned will be explored in this session, highlighting some of the key factors that can help improve the likelihood of success and attempt to reduce the risk of future contract failures. John will discuss key strategies for making the most of these kinds of collaborations and the importance of a clear, long-term federal infrastructure policy on sustainable population growth in our regional and urban population centres, maintaining a high standard of living and strong economic growth.
