Use natively with grayscale displays, or calibrate and match color displays to create a clear or blue base solution. Long product life cycles reduces end-of-life concerns for product offerings. Enhanced features available through Matrox Imaging Library (MIL), enabling hardware-accelerated operations such as image cached window/leveling, zoom, and the ability to view 1024 simultaneous shades of gray from 16-bit source images.

In addition, with certain displays, one can color/tone match between displays minimizing either or both luminance and chrominance variations. Define screen regions (desktop is one region) to represent hardware accelerated processing areas. Xenia supports 5 regions while Xenia PRO supports 9 regions. Any association of HWID allows independence or you can assign multiple HWID to a single region. A region can be an existing OS window or any area desktop as defined by the application On-board programmable Hardware Look Up Tables (HLUT) Manipulate grayscale or color data values/levels independently from and without disrupting the desktop Combined with the HWID, HLUTs allow individually programmable and easily manipulated screen regions, offloading CPU time for such basic tasks such as Window Leveling.
