2 ICD To Begin... Log in to PHconnect.com, mouse over the Customer Resources heading. In the menu that appears highlight and click on the catalog search selection. Bore A new window will appear as you enter the ICD Model Number Configurator area. To begin, click on Please Select and select an available bore size from the list. For our example model number, we have selected Code 4.00 for 4.00 Inch. In the Please select a catalog to search menu leave the default selection of All Catalogs. The next Search by field can also stay at the default of Manufacturer Part Number. Change the next selection to Contains, type 2H in the open field to indicate Series 2H and click on the search icon. When the search results appear, select the Configure button under the listing 2H-PARKER-ICD. Cushion Head The next selection is Cushion Head. Choose blank for No Cushion Head or C for Cushion Head. For our example model number, we have selected blank for No Cushion Head. 1 Parker Hannifin Corporation

3 Single or Double Rod Single Rod is the default setting that will automatically fill in. If you wish to configure a double rod, click on the line and select Code K for K-Double Rod in the menu that appears. Mounting Specifications After you have selected the Mounting Style, the selections for Special Mounting, Mounting Modification and Combination Mounting will display. For further information on these Special Mounting selections consult the factory. Mounting Click on Please Select for the available mountings to appear. Scroll through the list to view the complete selection. For our example model number, we have selected Code BB for Cap Fixed Clevis Mounting. Series Click on the Please Select area to bring up the available series and descriptions. For our example model number, we have selected the Code 2H for Heavy Duty Hydraulic Tie Rod. Piston selections for piston. For our example model number, we have selected Code L for Lipseal. 2 Parker Hannifin Corporation

4 Port Type selections for port type. For our example model number, we have selected Code U for NPTF Pipe Thread. Special Click on Please Select for Special Modifications. For our example model number, we have selected blank for No Special Modification. If you would like to include Special Modifications, select Code S and additional modifications will display. Seals The default selection is Code 1 for Standard (Class 1). If you wish to change the selection simply click on the line and select from the options that appear. Piston Rod Number selections. For our example model number, we have selected Code C1D175 for 1.75 Inch. Piston Rod End selections. For our example model number, we have selected Code 4 for Style 4 Small Male. Nut Retained Piston If you need a Nut Retained Piston, click on the line and change the selection to Code F. Otherwise leave the display at the default selection of blank for No Nut Retained Piston. 3 Parker Hannifin Corporation

5 Piston Rod End Alternate Thread No alternate threads displays as the default selection. If you would like to choose Code 2 for Thread Two Times Longer, click on the line and change the selection. Stroke Click on Please Select to bring up a box to enter your stroke in inches. Then select update code. For our example we have entered 5 for a stroke of 5 inches. Piston Rod End Thread selections of either A or M. For our example model number, we have selected Code A for Imperial. Port Size and Location After you have selected the Stroke, the specifications for Port Size-Head, Port Location-Head, Port Size-Cap and Port Location-Cap will fill in. This completes your model number. Cushion Cap (or Second Head) selections for our example model number, we have selected blank for No Cushion Cap. If you previously selected Code S for Special Modifications then at this time you can make additional selections. For instance, if you click on the line for Port Location - Head 1 you may now select your choice of positions as shown below. 4 Parker Hannifin Corporation

6 Your Final Model Number 4.00BB2HLU14A5.000 Hard Parts After you have created a CPN number for your configuration, click on the Cylinder line. This will bring up the listing of Hard Parts for your configuration BB 2H L U 1 4 A Click on any code to view additional information. List Price When your model number configuration is complete, you will see a List Price displayed. The list price for that item is now displayed. CPN You may also generate a CPN (Cylinder Part Number) for future reference. Click on the CPN button to create your number. Summary You can easily review your configuration by selecting the view summary button. A complete listing of your components will appear. A dialog box will appear with your CPN, and the rest of the screen will grey out. 1H Parker Hannifin Corporation

7 2D/3D CAD Drawings You may use the Generate CAD button to generate 2D or 3D CAD files and receive them via . You will be prompted to enter your address and then click send. Select the type of CAD file format you would like from the list and then hit submit request. A box pops up to confirm that your has been sent. Check your mailbox for your final files.
