3 1. About Recomind Recomind is a full service digital campaign management platform for marketing professionals. Powered by Amazon Simple Service (SES) and Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Recomind's Intelligent Campaigns platform helps you better understand and engage with your customers, resulting in higher ROI for your campaigns. How to launch campaigns: Now launching your marketing campaign is more easier than you can ever imagine. You may simply follow the steps given below for launching campaigns: 2. Campaigns 1.1 New Campaign Campaign Name: Every campaign has to be assigned with an Campaign Name for - future reference and alterations. This can be your title of the marketing campaign or promotional message. Make sure the campaign name is in connection with the campaign you are planning to send out, for easy reference. 3
4 Enter a unique campaign name 4
5 Enter campaign category name: The campaign has to be named with an campaign category. This can be sub category or segment of the main marketing campaign. This will help to categorize what type of campaign is running for analysis and effective follow-up. Select from id from the drop-down: From ID is the ID which will displayed are Sender in the receiver s mail. (Please make sure you have shared your domain with Recomind team) 5
6 Enter the Caption name: Caption name will be the name or any word which will be displayed in the mail, along with the subject line Select reply to id from the drop down: Caption name will be the name or any word which will be displayed in the mail, along with the subject line. 6
7 Create the campaign by clicking on Begin Wait for the campaign to be created and click OK once complete Clone Campaign 7
8 Click on clone campaign to reuse the existing campaigns. Click on clone button to clone the selected campaign. Click OK once the campaign cloned successfully Selecting/Uploading Customer DB Build Audience 8
9 Click on Build Audience tab and select an option to upload the Customer -id CSV file. 9
10 Select Upload a new list option and upload a CSV file from your system. The uploaded file will be displayed. Click Select an Existing Customer List to upload the CSV file from the existing list. Choose a file from the existing list and click upload button. 10
11 Build a list from CRM option helps the user to select the CSV file from the customer segment lists generated in Recomind CRM (Please check the CRM section for creating customer lists) Select clone from a previous campaign option to upload the CSV file which is used in previous campaign. 11
12 Click on upload button to upload the CSV file from the previously launched campaigns. click OK once the file uploaded successfully 12
13 1.1.3 Build/Upload HTML With Recomind you have 3 options Upload HTML Upload Zip Saved Template Upload HTML Files With Recomind you can upload HTML files from your system You can add multiple HTML files (up to 5 per campaign) to analyze the performance of individual HTML's (with A/B testing) and then send out the best HTML. 13
14 Enter the subject line for each HTML, which can be in English or any other regional languages Click on Upload HTML file button & select individual HTML Files to upload. 14
15 Click upload button to upload the HTML files to be sent Edit HTML Click the edit HTML button (Next to HTML subject box) give you an option to edit the uploaded HTML files 15
16 It ll open a window to edit the HTML. Edit the HTML & close, the changes will be automatically saved to the HTML. Preview HTML Click on the preview HTML button (next to the edit HTML button) It will open the window, which will give you a preview of your HTML 16
17 Spam Rater Recomind gives you a comprehensive report on the uploaded HTML(s), with the score, verdict of landing in spam and recommendations on how the HTML can be improved. Click on Spam Rater button, next to the preview button. 17
18 Delete HTML Uploaded HTML(s) can be deleted from the campaign. Click the delete HTML button, next to the spam rater button. Click on Next button to move to the next tab Saved Template: Click on Build HTML button Now built amazing HTML files from scratch by using HTML builder. Click on Saved Template and then clock on Build HTML option. It will guide you to the HTML Build screen 18
19 Here you can design new HTML's, with a simple drag & drop feature. Click on Export Template button as shown in the above screen. 19
20 Give a name to the template & click Save Click on View Build HTML button to view the created HTML files. 20
21 Select the template from the list and click upload button to upload the HTML. Upload Zip File Select Zip File option to upload zip file. 21
22 Select the Zip file to be uploaded. Enter the subject of the Zip File. We can add more zip files using Add more Files button. Click OK once the file uploaded successfully. 22
23 Saved Template Saved Template option let us to choose our own HTML file from the drop down. We can upload our own built HTML using this option. Select Saved Template option. Choose any HTML from the drop down. 23
24 Enter the Subject for the HTML file. Click OK once the file uploaded successfully Internal Testing Choose the Select test Group option to send to a group of recipients 24
25 Select Send to individual option and type the id in the text box to send test mails to internal team members. Click send test mail button to send out test s 25
26 1.1.5 Previewing the Campaign Campaign preview page shows all the details related to the campaign including uploaded database, uploaded HTML etc. Click next to move to the A/B testing tab A/B Testing 26
27 The A/B test tab gives the option to select test percentage, send-out benchmarks & schedule Type a percentage to be considered for A/B testing (for example, if you want to send the campaign to 8 people out of a database of 100, please enter 8 here) 27
28 Select a winning criteria for the final campaign. For example, if out of the uploaded HTML's, you want to send the HTML with the best Open rate, please select the criteria as Open Rate. 28
29 Select the waiting time. This will be the time for which the system will wait for the A/B test results to settle in before it sends out the final campaign. Click next to schedule A/B testing. You can skip A/B testing in case you have uploaded only 1 HTML by clicking on Skip A/B Test button Launch/Schedule Campaign 29
30 On the final launch window, you get 2 options Launch the campaign immediately Please select Launch campaign radio button & click on Launch button 30
31 Recomind will launch the A/B test (if it is scheduled), wait for the selected time period & then launch the final campaign. Suppose, you selected the wait time for A/B test results to settle in as 4 hours & you launch the campaign at 2 pm. Recomind will launch A/B testing at 2 pm & Final campaign will be launched at 6 pm. Schedule Campaign Recomind allows you to schedule campaigns for a later launch. Select the Date & time for launch & Click on Launch. Suppose, you have entered 4 hours as the A/B test wait, and you schedule the campaign for 5 PM in the evening, Recomind will launch A/B test at 1 PM and final campaign at 5 PM, as scheduled. 31
32 Campaign launched successfully 1.2 Follow Up Campaign Send Follow up campaigns for your past campaigns to increase conversion & ROI. Navigation: Campaign -> Followup Campaigns Enter a unique campaign name 32
33 Enter a category name Select from id from the drop-down 33
34 Enter caption to the campaign Select reply to id from the drop-down 34
35 Select the campaign for which the follow up is being sent for. Select the follow up criteria. Suppose you want to send a follow up campaign to all customers who opened your , but did not click on the link in HTML, you select Opened & Did not click. 35
36 Click on submit to automatically populate the database from the existing database of the respective sent campaign and then click next 36
37 Upload an HTML file for the campaign Click on upload button Click next to move to send test mail tab 37
38 Enter individual ids or select group to send test mails Click next to move to campaign preview tab 38
39 Campaign preview show all the details related to the followup campaign The A/B test tab gives the option to select test percentage, send-out benchmarks & schedule 39
40 Type a percentage to be considered for A/B testing (no. of mails) Select the winning criteria for A/B test results (Open rate/click rate) 40
41 Use the drop down to schedule the A/B test campaign (hh:mm) Click next to start A/B testing. 41

43 1.3 FTP Campaign Navigation: Campaign -> Create Campaign -> Followup Campaign Recomind allows you to create FTP campaign & schedule a recurring send out. Enter unique campaign name 43
44 Enter a campaign category Click submit after entering campaign name & category 44
45 Enter a subject line for the campaign Enter a FTP path for the HTML file to be uploaded 45
46 Enter a FTP path for the customer database to be uploaded Click submit to upload the files 46
47 Schedule the campaign. Suppose you want to send a campaign every Monday 8 am in the morning, you select Monday in the select box (you can select multiple days) & 8 am in the timer. 47
48 Select the days when the campaign should run by clicking on the check box Click on submit to schedule the campaign Reports Recomind tracks all the campaign metrics like open, unsubscribe, click, spam & bounce rates, for you to measure your campaign performance. 48
49 Click on Scheduled Reports tab.the reports page will be displayed. We can choose the campaign type from the drop-down to view reports. 49
50 We can view the detailed report of the selected campaign in drill-down reports page.it will show the list of mail-ids to which the mail has sent and list of opened,bounced unsubscribed mail ids Follow up Reports 50
51 Click on followup Campaigns under Reports to campaigns in reports to view the reports of followup campaigns. The page will be displayed.we can choose the campaign type from the drop-down list. Click on view in user stats column to view the detailed report of the launched campaign We can filter the list by selecting the status of which has been sent to the users. 51
52 1.4.2 AB and Launch Reports Campaigns which has launched with AB test will be listed in AB and Launch reports. Click on the Campaign name to view the report of the selected campaign. 52
53 1.5 CRM [Customer Relationship Management] With Recomind, you can send targeted s by segmenting the entire address list. You may use the CRM tool for easy filtering the desired fields. Click on CRM tab. The page will be displayed 53
54 Click on Add Customer button. Fill the customer details. Click Save button to save the details. 54
55 The pop-up will be displayed. Click OK once the user saved successfully. Click Bulk Upload button to upload the CSV file which contains customer data. 55
56 Click on Choose File button and select the necessary CSV file to upload. Click OK, once the file is uploaded. 56
57 Click on download sample CSV button to view the sample data. The sample CSV file will be downloaded Filters Select the filter tab.the filter customer data page will be displayed. 57
58 Select an attribute from the drop-down to filter the customers. Click on Add Filters button to add more filters. 58
59 The type of the attribute will be auto-populated(eg: First-name- string type, DOB-Calender type). Select a constraint for the attribute from the drop-down box. 59
60 The character from which the First_name should begin/end, should be entered in the text box. Any number of filters can be added/deleted.after adding all filters click the filter button, it will display the result. 60
61 To save the filtered file, click the Save As List button. Enter the file name and click Generate button to generate the CSV file. The generated file will be stored in customer DB. 61
62 1.6 Campaign Dashboard Navigation: Dashboard Dashboard provides overall details of the campaigns. Select a campaign name from the drop-down to view the click and open rate. 62

79 Build content tab allows you to give notification title and subject for the campaign Please enter the content to be used for the campaign and choose an action from Open App,Go-to link And Deep link. 79
80 Click on save to finalize the title and the content We can upload image with the notification by using media URLs option. 80
81 Click on upload Image File button to upload an image and select an image from the system. Click OK"once the file is uploaded. 81
82 Click OK once the campaign message is saved Click next to move to launch campaign tab 82
83 Choose launch immediately and click on the :launch button to start the campaign Choose schedule later button to schedule the campaign for a pre-defined time (i.e. once, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly) 83
84 Choose the start date & the end date and time to run the campaign (hh:mm) Click launch button to launch immediately or to schedule it later 84
85 Click OK once the campaign is launched or scheduled 3.3 Push Notification Reports Navigation: Push notification campaign->reports->push notification list We can view the total send notification,total received notification, start time end time in the push notification reports. 85
86 4. Settings 4.1 Access Management Create User Click on Create User tab. 86
87 Choose the User Role from the drop-down. Enter an id in the required field. 87
88 Enter the name in the name field. Enter the password for the user. 88
89 Retype the entered password to confirm. Click OK once the user saved successfully Manage User 89
90 Click on Manage user tab. Manage user page will be displayed. Choose a Role from the drop-down. 90
91 Click on Edit icon to edit the created user profile. We can change the password,name,and mail-id of the user by using edit option. Click on Save Changes button to save the changes. 4.2 Group Management 91
92 Click on Group Management tab. The Group Management tab will be displayed. Enter the Group name and click on Add Group button. 92
93 Select a Group Name from the drop down. Enter a mail-id to add into the selected group. 93
94 Select a Group Name to upload -id s. Click on Upload button to upload csv file which contains the list of -id s. 94
95 4.3 Send-out Management Click on Send-out Management tab.the Add -id page will be displayed. Enter the From -id and click Add Mail-Id button. 95
96 Click OK once the -Id added successfully. Enter the Reply-to -id and click on Add Mail-ID button. 96
