2 The following user manual will detail instructions on how to use our Online Board Ordering & Tracking System. The board ordering and tracking system can be accessed by either going to our main website at and clicking on one of the many banners or links to take you to the login section, or you can go directly to The following login box will be displayed: Please enter your login Username and Password to proceed. If you cannot remember your login details or require them to be changed for security reasons, please contact us. Once logged in you will see the following screen: The Home page displays a menu from which you can select various options. This menu is also repeated throughout the system to enable you to easily navigate around the online board system. The main Home page also displays some quick link boxes for items regularly used and also your Live Board Status. View Live Board Status (Main Home Page) This option allows you to view or print your current Live board status. The above grid displays the status, both current and previous, of all live boards (i.e. boards that have not been collected). Items highlighted in green are the current status of the board. Items highlighted in red are also the current status but if Sold or Let By are over 90 days old. Page 2 of 7
3 Order a New Board This section of the website allows you to add a new board via the form detailed below: When you start to enter the house number, an autocomplete drop down will appear of any properties already on your system. If you then select one of the properties from the drop down box, a warning will appear (see below) notifying you that the property already exists with a link to update the current board status rather than add a new request, therefore reducing the amount of duplicated properties on your system. The Type of Board section of the above form is determined by your login details (i.e. For Sale/Sold or To Let/Let By). A board can also be set to Collect which should only be used when a stray board requires collecting. Notes of up to 50 characters can be entered (i.e. only erect in front garden etc). Pre-Order Date default is blank but can be set to a date greater than today s date. Must be entered in the format of dd/mm/yyyy or selected by clicking the calendar icon next to the date field. Note: New boards are not added to your Live Board Status until they have been approved by PD Services. Page 3 of 7
4 View/Cancel 0 New Board Request(s) Awaiting Approval The 0 above will be replaced by the number of requests awaiting approval. As mentioned above, all new board requests are subject to approval by PD Services but can be viewed from this option as detailed below: If the details are incorrect, the new board request can be cancelled. Any boards that have been pre-ordered are highlighted in red and have Pre-Order set against it and will remain on the new board request screen until such time as the pre-order date is reached and PD Services approve it in the usual way. A pre-ordered board can also be cancelled anytime before it is approved. Update an Existing Board Existing boards can be updated to a new status. Upon entering this section you will be prompted to select a property to update via the following drop down box: Select a property and click the Update Board Status button which will take you to the following screen: The properties current details will be displayed (i.e. Current Status) and you can select a new status and enter any relevant notes for this transaction (i.e. Only nail to fence). 5 A board can be Erased from the system by selecting the Erase option from the status drop down box. If a board is erased it will no longer appear on board status screens etc. You can also enter a pre-order date when you would like the status change to take place. View Board Archive All boards that have been previously collected are held in the Board Archive so you can easily check relevant details etc if required. View Erased Boards This option will display any boards that you have erased that have not been deleted or cancelled by PD Signs. Page 5 of 7
6 View Daily Worksheet This option allows you to view or print instructions you gave on any date. On entry to this section you will be prompted to enter the relevant date as follows: Note: The date defaults to yesterday. Once you have selected the relevant date click the View Daily Worksheet button which will take you to the screen detailed below: View Monthly Worksheet Similar to the Daily Worksheet, this option allows you to view or print all instructions given for any month. On entry to this section you will be prompted to enter the relevant date as follows: Page 6 of 7
7 Once you have selected the relevant date click the View Monthly Worksheet button which will take you to the screen detailed below: Notifications This screen allows you to enter an address so that any new board requests and status updates are ed to the address entered. This can be useful so that you can keep a record of boards ordered etc. Enter your address and if notifications are active or not. Sign Out This option will log you out of the online board ordering and tracking system. Page 7 of 7
