1 My Volunteer Page: Set-Up Instructions STEP 1: Initial Set-Up Step 1.0: Updating your password A. Login to myvolunteerpage.com using the credentials from the that included this document B. Click on the MY PROFILE box at the top C. A drop down menu will appear below the D. Click on Change Password in bold lettering in the drop down menu E. Enter the password from the in the current password box F. Please create a new password and enter it in both the new password and confirm new password box G. Click the change password box to save your changes H. Remember your new password! STEP 2: Updating your profile Step 2.0: General Instructions A. If you have not already done so, login to myvolunteerpage.com using your username and password

2 B. Click on the MY PROFILE box at the top C. A drop down menu will appear below the D. Click on the headings in drop down menu one-by-one. a. For our purposes, the most important headings are: Contact Information, Additional Info, Qualifications, Interests and Availability. E. Please review these pages and update your answers as necessary (please see Steps for detailed instructions). Your answers filter which volunteer jobs and shifts are offered to you so it is important that it is accurate and updated. F. Don't forget to SAVE every page after you make changes (usually at the bottom right of each page)! Once you save a page a red text box will appear at the top right of the page. Step 2.1: Updating your Contact Information/Username C. Click on the heading that says Contact Information

3 D. Please check all fields to make sure they are accurate. Simply click in the text box and type in the updated information E. Fields marked with a flag symbol are mandatory, all other fields are optional. a. Feel free to change your username to something easier to remember (e.g. your address) b. Note: you must include at least one phone number as this is how we may be contacting you on the day of your shift(s) F. Under Privacy Settings on the right hand side you may choose to allow other Jazz Fest volunteers to see when you have signed up to shifts by checking the boxes. If you leave all boxes unchecked, other volunteers will simply see you on the shift as anonymous. Checking these boxes is optional! a. CLICK SAVE G. Under the subscriptions box on the right hand side you may opt-in to weekly schedule reminders. If you select this option you will receive an detailing your shifts for the next two weeks. Great option if you tend to forget when you are working! H. Scroll to the bottom of the page and CLICK

4 Step 2.2: Updating your Additional Info C. Click on the heading that says Additional Info D. Please check all fields to make sure they are accurate. Simply click in the text box and type in the updated information E. Fields marked with a flag symbol are mandatory, other fields are optional. F. Scroll to the bottom of the page and CLICK Step 2.3: Updating your Qualifications Important! Qualifications are used to filter which activities you can and can t sign up for. It is extremely important that you fill them out accurately and keep them updated. C. Click on the heading that says Qualifications

5 D. Please check all fields to make sure they are accurate. a. Please make sure that the qualification are you a previous volunteer with CJBS is filled in. This is how we ensure you have access to early sign ups. If you change this field, please allow a couple days for it to be approved by an administrator E. To change a field, click on the arrows on the right of the text box and choose from the dropdown menu F. Scroll to the bottom of the page and CLICK SAVE when you are finished Step 2.4: Updating your Interests C. Click on the heading that says Interests

6 D. You will now see a list of all our volunteer positions. Please check all crews you would like to be considered for. E. To read a description of the position, simply click on the symbol. F. A textbox will appear. Close the textbox when you are done reading to go back to the volunteer positions. G. Scroll to the bottom of the page and CLICK Step 2.5: Updating your Availability C. Click on the heading that says Availability

7 D. Please check all boxes when you are available in May/June. If you are not sure of your availability, please fill it out to the best of your ability and keep it updated as you find out more. Clicking the box in front of the day of the week selects the entire day. Clicking the box in front of the time of day selects that time of day for every day of the week To select a certain time in a single day of the week, click the corresponding single box. Click a box again to deselect that time. E. Scroll to the bottom of the page and CLICK STEP 3: Maintaining your profile A. In the next few months, please keep your profile up to date using the same process as STEPS B. Keep checking back for updates by logging into myvolunteerpage.com. I strongly recommend familiarizing yourself with the website before the start of shift scheduling! C. Distribution and Volunteer Experience Facilitation crews will open in April. Note: you will only be able to view these shifts if you are qualified for them D. The bulk of volunteer shifts will open for selfsignup on May 4th at 12pm for returning volunteers and May 14th at 12pm for new volunteers. Instructions for signing up for shifts will posted on the myvolunteerpage home screen, and will also be ed out to everyone in late April. Still need assistance?
