What's playing: Check the status of current playback and next items in the playlist remotely. 6. Divide the network in groups for ease of scheduling: Like if you want to play the same content on 50 different locations, assign them to a group and schedule the whole group together, no need to add the schedule for 50 locations individually. 7. FTP Support: Smart enough to download the required content from the central repository. 8. 6 PLAYER FEATURES 1. Player Health and log views 2. Internal Caching of Data: If the internet gets down, all the external data requests will be fulfilled by the internal Cache. The internal cache is updated every time new data is found. 3. Proof of Playback: Player keeps on taking the screenshots of the current playback at the maximum delay specified in the player properties. In addition to the screenshots, player also generates the full playback log of the video files played in the presentation, which can be remotely viewed using scheduler. 4. Self-healing: Player keeps on monitoring the network status of the system, and automatically updates itself on any change in the network. 5. Secure and Encrypted communication: All the communication with the scheduler is done on a secure channel. 6. Password Protected access: The access to player (schedules, content and logs) is password protected. If the scheduler doesn't have the right password for the player, the player is completed locked from access. 7. Smart download: Content can be transferred to the player remotely by scheduler or it can be uploaded to an online ftp server. The player automatically checks if the required content necessary to play the presentation is available locally, or else downloads the content from the internet at the background. 8. Real-time rendering of output at time of playback. 9. Supports both passive and interactive digital signs and kiosks. 10. Resolution Independence and Scaling: Players can render different sizes on the fly with outstanding visual clarity in any standard aspect ratio or custom defined aspect ratio. 11. Receive remote commands from server including custom serial commands. 12. Remotely control the devices attached to players via RS In case of Multiple Players at one site: One player can act as sub distribution server so that instead of every remote player downloading content individually, the sub distribution server can download the content on behalf of all local players and distribute the same locally. 14. Player can play the content during content distribution or receiving: Contents distribution to players does not disturb the operation of the viewers.
