3 Your TiVo Remote Take control of the ultimate digital TV experience. START HERE! TiVo Central Press the TiVo button at any time to go to the TiVo Central screen. Press it twice to get to your My Shows list from any other screen. Select In the TiVo menus and program guide, use the arrow buttons to move to the option you want, then press Select. TV Pwr Turns TV or AV receiver on/off. Volume To program Volume, Mute and TV Power buttons, go to Settings > Remote, CableCard, and Devices. Control Playback Fast-forward, rewind, pause or play in slow motion any live TV and recorded shows. Advance Move forward in 30-second increments; press and hold to jump to the end. Thumbs Up/ Thumbs Down Rate shows, collections, or video providers for TiVo Suggestions. Replay Repeats the last 8 seconds of the show. Press and hold to jump back to the beginning. A B C D Sort and filter views. Look for the on-screen tip. To navigate through the TiVo menus and program guide, use the buttons. Use the CH buttons to change channels anytime during live TV.

4 My Shows All the shows recorded by your TiVo, including podcasts and downloaded shows, appear on the My Shows screen. Highlight any title in My Shows (even a show that s still recording) and press PLAY to view the show from the beginning or to resume playing where you left off. To get to My Shows super-fast from any screen, press the TiVo button at the top of your remote twice. Apps & On Demand Get what you want to watch when you want to watch it. Access TV shows, movies, web videos and more. Just select Apps from TiVo Central for available video options. Get access to thousands of movies, TV shows, documentaries, concerts, and more, with Netflix & Hulu right from your TiVo device. Check out Vewd app store, where you ll find tons of apps to explore and enjoy on your TiVo box. Popular apps like AccuWeather, Facebook and more are available with Vewd. 5 Search & OnePass Find anything fast! Your TiVo box searches program listings for titles, keywords or actor/director names, and gives you results all at the same time. Search Find what you love to watch. From the TiVo Central screen, select Search, OnePass, & Manage then select Search. Enter a few letters of the show title or actor s name, and the TiVo service searches across TV, On Demand and the Internet to find matches. OnePass Find every episode no matter where it happens to be. To set up OnePass select a show you want to watch, select OnePass and other Options > Create a OnePass (press the Rec button if you are already watching). Shows can be selected from various places, including search results and from the guide. If you would like to change the options for your OnePass, click on Options. OnePass allows you to save all your current and future recordings as well as links to streaming content in a My Shows folder. In addition, OnePass organizes all your shows by starting with any season of your choosing. Recommendations Discovery Bar Get personalized recommendations. The Discovery Bar is the bar of thumbnail images across the top of TiVo Central and most other HD menus screens. The Discovery Bar helps you find new shows that are similar to shows you ve recorded. And it doesn t contain only shows. You ll also find thumbnails for actors, collections of related shows, and more. Press the arrow to move up to the Discovery Bar, then the and arrows to move around. Press on an image that interests you to open an information screen about that item. TiVo Suggestions Record shows that match your preferences. Based on the ratings you give to shows and movies, TiVo Suggestions automatically selects and records new content on your TiVo. It s a great way to make new discoveries. Don t worry, TiVo Suggestions won t override your own recordings or steal valuable disk space. If you choose to auto-record TiVo Suggestions, you ll find a list of recorded TiVo Suggestions in your My Shows list. TiVo Suggestions are marked with a Suggestions icon.

6 Parental Controls Controlling access is easy. Restrict access to shows based on their ratings or simply restrict certain channels. From the TiVo Central screen, select Settings & Messages > Parental & Purchase Controls Music & Photos Your TiVo box is really an entire digital home entertainment central! Enjoy your favorite music on Pandora and stream your own media with Plex. From the TiVo Central screen, select Apps to get started. To access Pandora: Go to TiVo Central by pressing Select Apps. Select Pandora. Follow the on-screen instructions. Play your favorite music on the best speakers in the house. Pandora lets you create custom Internet radio stations personalized just for you, playing only the music you love! Just tell Pandora one of your favorite songs, artists, composers or genres and it will create a radio station that explores that style of music. 7 now available on your TiVo! Hulu subscription required Watch TV shows and movies streamed directly to your TiVo with your Hulu subscription. There s no need to buy extra devices or hook up your laptop to your television TiVo lets you easily access and watch Hulu right on your TV. Two simple ways to access Hulu on your TiVo when you have a Hulu subscription: Press the TiVo button on your remote. From the TiVo Central screen, select Apps > Hulu From your Program Guide, tune directly to channel 3000 Log In If you are a Hulu subscriber, continue with the following steps: Sign in on Device or Sign in Online Enter your address. NOTE: You must use the onscreen keyboard to enter your information, including the shift key for capitals. THUMBS UP/DOWN will not work. Arrow and press SELECT to enter your password. Arrow to LOG IN and press SELECT. You ll only need to log in once. You ll remain signed in to Hulu until you log out. You must have an eligible TiVo box. You must also have High Speed Internet connection and a Hulu subscription. How to Watch: When you have a Hulu subscription and search for shows on your TiVo box, your results will include shows available from Hulu. Or, you can search Hulu directly for any show. Use the VU-IT! app on your computer, tablet, & mobile device with Hulu You can use the VU-IT! app on ios or Android to search for movies and TV shows, and if a particular movie or show is available on Hulu, the app will indicate its availability. Download or update the VU-IT! app on your favorite mobile device. Search VU-IT in the Apple App or Google Play Store and download the App to your device. To login you will need the address and password that you registered with on If you don t have one or have forgotten it call Launch the VU-IT! app on your mobile device. (Make sure your TiVo DVR is connected to your home network). Follow on-screen instructions to connect to your TiVo DVR or go to Settings menu and tap Streaming Setup. Select Settings & Messages > Settings > Network > Connect to TiVo service now. In two to ten minutes you will be connected.
