5 Name of Parts/Function/Setting Disc Loading Tray (1) Open the loading tray by pressing the eject button. And place a CD or DVD disc into the slit with the label facing up. Press the eject button or push the front part of the tray to load it with the disc. The drive does not support to load/unload any unique shape media: such as a business card, a heart, a hexagon and so forth. Eject Button (2) Press this button to unload/load the tray. Indicator (3) The Indicator (Yellow Green LED) indicates the drive status. Status During reading During writing Tray open/close Indicator Lit Lit Lit *(Option: Volume Control Knob (4)) This is the volume control knob for adjusting sound level on the headphone. When the knob is turned to the right, the headphone volume goes up, when turned to the left, the volume goes down. *(Option: Head-Phone Jack (5)) This is the stereo mini jack for headphone. Set Volume Control Knob minimum position before inserting headphone jack. The audio output of rear panel is active even when a jack is inserted into the headphone plug * No further information in this document. Please ask Pioneer when you want more to know about these options. Forced Eject hole (6) Insert a stiff rod into the hole and push to eject the tray when the tray doesn t unload by pressing the Eject button. In the normal operation, the eject button should be used to unload the tray. Make sure the power of the drive is turned off and wait more than one minute till the disc rotation is stopped when access the eject hole. Ventilation hole (7) Cooling air intake port.
