3 Introduction 1 Introduction The Veryx ATTEST TM IPv6 ReadyTest-Host Conformance Test Suite is a feature-rich automated software testing solution. Veryx has developed about 20 sample Test Cases that are organized into the following Test Groups: S. No Group Cases 1. IPV6 SPECIFICATION GROUP (S1) 4 2. To verify that an IPv6 System sends an ICMPv6 Parameter Problem message to the source of the received fragment, if the length of the fragment is not a multiple of 8 octets and the M flag of that fragment is 1. To verify that an IPv6 System discards a Neighbor Solicitation message received with an Invalid Target Address. To verify that a node properly updates its neighbor cache upon receipt of unicast neighbor solicitations with same Source Link Layer Address when the NCE of the neighbor is in state "REACHABLE". To verify that an IPv6 system silently discards a Unsolicited Neighbor Advertisement with Solicited flag as 0, Override flag as 0 and TLLA, if the target does not have any associated Neighbor Cache entry. Verify that a host properly processes the received router advertisement with valid lifetime as 0xffffffff To verify whether a host ignores invalid path MTU 15.
