)*(applet classes from class JApplet. Applet Applet : are Java programs that are typically embedded in HTML (Extensible Hyper- Text Markup Language) documents. 2.Life cycle method : 1-init () 2-start () 3-paint () 4-stop () 5.destroy() 1. init (): called once by the applet containers when an applet is loaded for execution. 2.start( ) : Called by the applet container after method init( ) completes execution. 3.Paint: Method paint is called by the applet container after methods init and start. For draw! 4. Stop: is called by the applet container when the user leaves the applet s web page. 5. destroy :is called by the applet container when the applet is being removed from memory. Applet Containers: the application is which in applet executes is known as the applet containers. Example of Appletviewer : JDK
Program of Applet : import java.applet.applet; import java.awt.*; public class program1 extends Applet { public void paint(graphics g) { g.drawstring("welcome student",100,100); } } 23.1 a) init, start, paint. b) stop. c) JApplet (or Applet). d) appletviewer. e) start. f) HTML. g) init. h) paint. i) destroy. j) <applet>, </applet>. k) Java Web Start. l) Java Network Launch Protocol (JNLP). m) Java Cache Viewer SWING PACKAGE
1.Deferent between { Awt Package & Swing package} : Awt does not work faster, swing work faster Awt components are heavy weigth, swing components haevy light and weigth Awt have more memory space, swing less memory space. Awt require java.awt package, swing require javax.swing package. Awt in feature not supported in awt, swing we can have different look and feel in swing. 2.Define Layout? type of Layout? explain? Layout manager: A layout manager is an instance of any class that implements the LayoutManager interface. Types : 1) FlowLayout 2) BorderLayout 3) GridLayout 4) CardLayout 5) GridBagLayout 6) FlowLayout: 1) FlowLayout: is the default layout manager. components are line-by-line beginning at the upper-left corner. FlowLayout.LEFT
FlowLayout.CENTER(default) FlowLayout.RIGHT 2) Border Layout:- The BorderLayout class implements a common layout.style for top-level windows. )*(The middle area is called the center. a) BorderLayout.CENTER b) BorderLayout.EAST c) BorderLayout.NORTH d) BorderLayout.SOUTH e) BorderLayout.WEST GridLayout:- It lays out components in a two dimensional grid. )2 a. GridLayout() b. GridLayout(int numrows,int numcolumns) c)gridlayout(int numrows, int numcolumns,int horz,int vert) CardLayout:- The CardLayout class is unique among the other Managers in that it stores several different layouts. Cardalyout() CardLayout(int horz,int vert) GridBagLayout:-GridBagLayout is a bit more complicated
than the other layout managers. GridBagLayout(). Example of Layout: import java.applet.applet; import java.awt.*; public class Flow extends Applet { public void init () { setlayout ( new FlowLayout()); Label label = new Label("Name:"); add(label); TextField tf = new TextField("Java"); add(t); Button b = new Button("OK"); add(b(; } }
Different components of swing : graphical user interface (GUI) presents a user-friendly mechanism for interacting with an application. )*(Swing GUI components are located in package javax.swing. JLabel:Displays text to Read only text. JTextField:Typically receives input from the user. JTextArea:Contain multiple lines of text. JList:A list of items from which the user can make a selection by clicking on any one can be selected. JPasswordField:shows that characters are being typed as the user enters them, but hides the actual characters. JButton: is a component the user clicks to trigger an action. There are three Swing state button types: JToggleButton JcheckBox JradioButton jradio buttons : have two states selected and not selected. JCheckBox : isselected determines whether a JCheckBox is selected. JComboBox:A drop-down list of items from which the user can make a selection. الصور مهمه للفراغات فهممم مهمه جدا جدا مثل كذا Component extens,,,,,,,,,, االجابه Object

a) mousemoved. b) uneditable (read-only). c) layout manager. d) Container. e) graphical user interface. f) setlayout. g) mousepressed, mousereleased. h) JOptionPane. i) showinputdialog, JOptionPane. j) showmessagedialog, JOptionPane. k) JTextComponent. Event Handling Define Event : is the receipt of an event at some event handler from an event producer and subsequent processes. Steps for Event Handling : Create a class that represents that event handler. Implement an appropriate interface, known as an event-listener interface, in the class from Step1. Indicate that an object of the class from Steps1 and 2 should be notified when the event occurs. This is known as registering the event handler. Delecat event model in java : event source - event object - event listener Program of Event Handling : Search in google! JDBC JDBC driver : JDBC drivers implement the defined interfaces in the JDBC API for interacting with your database server. Type of driver? uses of driver? Type 1: JDBC-ODBC Bridge Driver Type 2: JDBC-Native API Type 3: JDBC-Net pure Java Type 4: 100% pure Java
Which Driver should be used? If you are accessing one type of database, such as Oracle, Sybase, or IBM, the preferred driver type is 4. If your Java application is accessing multiple types of databases at the same time, type 3 is the preferred driver. Type 2 drivers are useful in situations where a type 3 or type 4 driver is not available yet for your database. The type 1 driver is not considered a deployment-level driver and is typically used for development and testing purposes only. Program in java : in your ! ResultSet: object maintains a cursor that points to the current row in the result set. The term "result set" refers to the row and column data contained in a ResultSet object. PreparedStatement and CallableStatement? PreparedStatement CallableStatement Use when you plan to use the SQL statements many times. The PreparedStatement interface accepts input parameters at runtime. Use when you want to access database stored procedures. The CallableStatement interface can also accept runtime input parameters a) SQL. b) rows, columns. c) ResultSet. d) primary key. e) WHERE. f) ORDER BY. g) joining. h) database. i) foreign key. j) DriverManager, getconnection. k) Connection. l) Statement. m) JdbcRowSet, CachedRowSet n) CachedRowSet.
Socket Socket : simply a software construct that represents on endpoint of a connection. Type of Socket : a. Stream socket. b. Datagram socket. a. Stream socket 1. With stream sockets a process establishes a connection to another process. 2. While the connection is in place data flows between the processes in continuous streams. 3. Stream sockets are said to provide a connection-oriented service. 4. It uses transmission control protocol (TCP). b. Data gram socket: 1. With datagram sockets, individual packets of information are transmitted 2. It uses user datagram protocol 3. It is a connectionless service 4. With UDP packets can even be lost or duplicated. Steps of server & client : Server : Step1: Create a ServerSocket Step2: Wait for a Connection: Step 3: Get the socket s I/O Streams Step 4: Perform the Processing: Step 5: Close the Connection. Client: Step 1:Create a socket Step 2: Get the Socket s I/O Streams Step3: perform the Processing: Step 4: close the connection
Program in your files! a) IOException. b) UnknownHostException. c) SocketException. d) java.net. e) DatagramSocket. f) InetAddress. g) stream sockets, datagram sockets. h) Uniform Resource Locator.i) Uniform Resource Identifier. j) HTTP. k) showdocument. l) InetAddress. m) MalformedURLException.
Servlet Servlet : is simple program run in web browser. 1.init() 2.service() have : do get, do post 3.destroy() Servlet API : the javax.servlet and java.servlet.http represent interfaces and classes for servlet api. Note of java. Servlet package : package contain many interfaces and classes used by servlet web container. The Servlet interface The ServletRequest interface The ServletResponse interface Reading Servlet Parameter Note of javax.servlet.http package : package contains interfaces and classes that are responsible for http request only. Interface : http servlet request http servlet Response http sersion Classes : cookie http servlet http session servlet Different between do get & do post : Do get faster than do post do get smaller than do post do get limitation Do post secured than do get do post not limitation.
Program based on servlet:- Import javax.servlet.*; Import javax.servlet.http.*; Import java.io.*; Public class Hello extends HttpServlet { Public void init() { System.out.println( init called ); } Public void doget(httpservletrequest req, HttpServletResponse res) throws servletexception IDException. { system.out.println( Welcome to ServletDemo ); printwriter out=res.getwriter(); out.println( welcome to servlet ); } public void dopost(httpservletrequest req, HttpServletResponse res) throws servletexception IDException. { system.out.println( dopost() called ); doget(req.res); } Public void destroy() { system.out.println( destroy method called ); } } دعوه في ظهر الغيب قد تسعدني كل حياتي.. وبالتوفيق
