3 3 Integrating A New Payment Method In Websphere Commerce Store Front For integrating a new payment method you will have to make some configuration in xml and run some queries for updating the table Adding JSP File First of all you will have to create a jsp file for view of payment method at store front and place that file in C:\WCToolkitEE60\workspace\Stores\WebContent\ConsumerDirect\Snippets\EDP\PaymentMethods Where consumerdirect is your store name Updating Database 1. Now you will have to run some queries in database for following tables Policy PolicyDesc PolicyCmd Query POLICY(POLICY_ID,POLICYNAME,POLICYTYPE_ID,STOREENT_ID,PROPERTIES)VALUES(9811,'Discover','Pay ment', 1, 'attrpagename=standarddiscover&paymentconfigurationid=default&display=true&compatiblemode=fals e'); POLICY Table Fields POLICY_ID is any integer id POLICYNAME is your new method name STOREENT_ID is your store id (If you use 1 it means that this payment method can use for every store) PROPERTIES here you would define the jsp which you developed for this payment method in first step Query DB2ADMIN.POLICYDESC(POLICY_ID, LANGUAGE_ID, DESCRIPTION, LONGDESCRIPTION)values(9811, 1,'Discover Credit Card','Discover Credit Card')

4 4 POLICY Table Fields POLICY_ID is must be same id which you entered in POLICY table in POLICY_ID table. It is basically reference key in POLICYCMD table from POLICY table. LANGUAGE_ID is your require language id 1 use for English DESCRIPTION is Short Description about your payment method which is visible in store front payment method drop down LONGDESCRIPTION is Long Description about your payment method Queries POLICYCMD(POLICY_ID,BUSINESSCMDCLASS)VALUES(9811,'com.ibm.commerce.payment.actions.comma nds.dopaymentactionspolicycmdimpl'); POLICYCMD(POLICY_ID,BUSINESSCMDCLASS)VALUES(9811,'com.ibm.commerce.payment.actions.comma nds.editpaymentinstructionpolicycmdimpl'); POLICYCMD(POLICY_ID,BUSINESSCMDCLASS)VALUES(9811,'com.ibm.commerce.payment.actions.comma nds.querypaymentsinfopolicycmdimpl'); POLICYCMD Table Fields POLICY_ID is must be same id which you entered in POLICY table in POLICY_ID table. LANGUAGE_ID field contain integer which define the default language for this payment method DESCRIPTION and LONGDESCRIPTION are the description for your new payment method. 5 5 XML Configuration For new payment method you will have to make some configuration in following xml file PaymentMappings.xml <Mapping e.g <Mapping paymentmethod= your new payment method name paymentconfiguration=" your configuration for this payment method " paymentactionrule="early Deposit/Early Approval"/> paymentmethod="check" paymentconfiguration="checkoffline" paymentactionrule="early Deposit"/> RefundMappings.xml <RefundMapping refundmethod=" your new payment method name " refundconfiguration="your configuration for this payment method"/> e.g <RefundMapping refundmethod="discover" refundconfiguration="creditcardonline"/> After completing these steps just restart server and check your new payment method in websphere store front
