3 ipoint Publisher Description: ipoint Publisher is a new module of 06. that provides ability to create unlimited ipoint Viewer projects from Admin Tool. An ipoint Viewer project requires no license and can be launched an unlimited number of times without installation. ipoint Publisher is ideal for transferring data between clients, partner companies, contractors and offsite locations. ipoint Publisher is accessed from Admin Tool and allows the user to select specific Projects, Wells, Data and Images to be included within a Viewer Project. 5 Export Data Sync Select Data Types Select Projects The Export DataSync is accessed from the File Menu of Admin Tool and provides options to export data and images to an ipoint Viewer project. Select the Data Types to export, including Well Headers, Datasets, Images, Shiftsets and Documents. Select which ipoint Project Well Sets to export. Well Selection Select relevant Wells to export. 5 Export as Viewer Project An ipoint Viewer Project is exported to a selected folder location, where a standalone ipoint Exe will also be provided to launch ipoint in Viewer mode and access all data and images.

4 ipoint Viewer Description: ipoint Viewer is a read-only version of ipoint that can be run separately on any laptop or portable device without the need for an installation. ipoint Viewer can open any Viewer Project previously created using ipoint Publisher, providing full access to all containing wells, data and images using the imine and Viz Point modules. Layouts and Track Objects are fully accessible from Viz Point, allowing data to be visualized using ipoint s multi-scale platform. Users can export data and images to industry standard formats, making it an ideal platform for data sharing with partner companies, contractors and colleagues. imine Module Viz Point Module Browse all Well Headers, Data and Image contents using Index Trees, Lists or Matrices. Export datasets and Images to industry standard formats. Visualize depth-referenced data and images using ipoint s multi-scaled platform. Existing Layouts and Track Objects are fully accessible from the options provided.

5 Search & Report Query Groups Description: Query Groups combine multiple criteria entries together under a single group. Multiple query groups can be added to Search & Report, and allows for the same entry to be used within different groups. When the final search is run - all Query Groups are merged to retrieve the final results. 5 Query Group Criteria Entries Enable/Disable Query Group Merges multiple criteria entries under the same group. To add criteria, click and drag an entry into the query group box, or highlight entry and click the add button.. The entry will be added to the selected Query Group marked with the name in bold. Multiple entries can be added to the same group. The order can be switched by click and drag of this button: Enable or disable individual Query Groups. A disabled query group will not be included when retrieving the final search results. Delete/Duplicate Query Group Remove a Query Group by selecting the delete button Group by selecting the duplicate button.. Duplicate an existing Query 5 Add Query Group Click to add a new Query Group, or drag criteria entry into this box. 5

6 Results Panel Redesigned Description: The results panel has been redesigned to merge all Data Type results within one panel under separate tabs. Results from all Data Types are retrieved within one single search instead of selecting Data Type before the search is run. Search Button Results Panel After all criteria entries have been added, click the Search button to proceed with the search. All Data Type results will then be displayed under this panel as separate tabs. Data Type Tabs Data Type results are accessible by clicking on the related tab. List Results Shows a list of results based on the selected Data Type tab. Note: The Documents Data Type tab contains an additional drop down option to search for related documents based on the following: All: Search for all documents, regardless if they are attached to any data type or not. Attached: Search for all documents attached to any data type (Wells, Datasets, Images and Shifts). Well: Search for any documents attached only to Wells. Dataset: Search for any documents only attached to Datasets. Image: Searches for any documents only attached to Images. Shift: Search for any documents only attached to Shiftsets. Unattached: Search for any documents that are not attached to any data type. 6

7 Default Criteria Entries (Admin Tool) Description: Criteria entries can be selected to display as default for all users when the Search & Report module is launched. This allows Admin Users to prioritize metadata properties according to each Data Type. Default criteria entries are selected and can have their order customized from within the Defaults module of Admin Tool. 5 6 Defaults Module Data Type Defaults tab Data Types Search Criteria Defaults Button Configure default settings for ipoint, including Chart Views, Indexing, Lists, and Search Criteria defaults. Set default metadata properties for Index Trees, Lists and Search & Report Criteria. Select a Data Type to configure metadata defaults for Index Trees, Lists and Search & Report. Opens the Criteria dialog. 5 Default Properties Select the metadata properties to display as default when Search & Report is launched. 6 Configure Order Customize the default order of metadata properties as displayed in Search & Report. 7

8 Default Criteria Entries (Search & Report) Description: When Search & Report is launched, only selected default entries selected from Admin Tool will be displayed within the Criteria tabs. Un-selecting the filter button will display all properties. Each Data Type list will be ordered by the custom order configured within Admin Tool, and selecting the sort button will order the list alphabetically. Default Properties Default criteria entries selected from within Admin Tool will show within a list for each Data Type tab. Filter Button Disabling the Filter Button shows all available criteria entries. Sort Button Selecting the sort configured. button will order the list alphabetically instead of the default order 8

9 Merge Results as Union (OR) or Intersection (AND) Description: When multiple query groups have been added, further options are available to configure how the groups will be merged when the final search is run. Query Groups can be merged as either a Union (OR) or as an Intersection (AND). Union Button (OR) Intersection Button (AND) Enable this button to merge all query groups as a Union (OR). For example - search for all Wells that contain either CCA OR XRD datasets. Enable this button to merge all query groups as an Intersection (AND). For example - search for all Wells that contain both CCA AND XRD datasets. Right-Click Menu Expansion Description: Based on the Data Type tab selected, the right click menu has been expanded to include all common imine options, including Lists, Matrices, ArcGIS, Export, Charts, Statistics and Processing Point. 9

10 Save Search Criteria as Favorite Description: All users now have the option of saving criteria as a favorite where it can then be used during any future session of ipoint. Up to 0 favorites can be saved with further options to organize, edit and delete existing favorites. As well as saving criteria as a favorite, options to save criteria to a local file are also provided. Search files can be reopened at any time or shared with other ipoint users. 5 Favorites Button Select the Favorites button to show the Favorites menu. Save Criteria as Favorite Select this option to save the current Criteria as a Search Favorite for future use. Existing Search Favorites Existing search Favorites are displayed within this menu. Select an existing Search Favorite to load the criteria contents. Note: Current criteria will be overwritten. Existing favorites can be edited by selecting Organize Favorites option. File Menu Open the File menu to access the Save Search options. 5 Save Search Options Current Criteria can be saved to a local file either by selecting Save Search or Save Search As to overwrite a previously saved search. 0

11 Save Search Criteria as Template Description: Search criteria can be saved as a template. Saved Templates are available to all users on the right side of Search & Report. An existing template can be set as an individual user s default that automatically loads when Search & Report is launched. A template can also be set as System Default where it will load automatically for all users. 5 Templates Panel Expand Button Select this button to open/close the Templates Panel. Templates Panel Stores all existing Templates within a tree structure. Accessible to all ipoint users. Templates Menu Right click on a Template to access the Templates menu, including Open, Append, Edit, Delete and Default options. File Menu Open the File menu to access the Save Template options. 5 Save Template Options Criteria can be saved as a Template by selecting Save Template or Save Template As to overwrite an existing Template. Note: For a user to have the ability to save Search & Report templates, the Create and Edit Search Templates permission must be enabled from within the Users module of Admin Tool. To set Default templates, the Set Search Template Defaults permission needs to be enabled.

12 Search by Depth Interval Range Description: Search & Report provides additional options to search data by a set Interval Range. An Interval Range can be configured based on custom top and base depths, or selected values from a Curve (e.g. TOPS). Intervals Button Opens the Interval Configuration window. Interval Type Interval Configuration Select from a list of Interval Types, including top and base Depths, select an interval type Range or Block using selected curve values as a top and base depth range. The Curve Values type allows multiple values from a curve to be selected as the depth range. Based on the Interval Type selected, configure an Interval Range by selecting top and base depths, or select values from a curve.

13 Search for Curve Value(s) Description: Curve Value has been added as a new Curve Criteria entry. Selecting this entry will automatically add both Curve Name, followed by Curve Value criteria to a Query Group. Multiple curve names and values can then be entered as search criteria. Curve Criteria Type Select this to access the Curve Value criteria entry. Curve Value Criteria Curve Name Criteria Searches for all occurrences of a custom curve value entry. When Curve Value is selected - Curve Name will be added automatically. Curve Name Criteria searches for occurrences of selected curve name(s). Selected Curve Value Criteria Based on the Curve Name criteria - search for all occurrences of custom curve value(s). Not Equals Search Description: All textual and numerical type criteria entries have an additional option to search for occurrences that are not equal to selected value(s).

14 Search for Images within a Depth Range Description: Image Depth Range (MD) has been added as new Image Criteria entry that searches for Images between custom entered top and base depths. Image Criteria Type Select this to access Image Depth Range (MD) criteria entry. Image Depth Range Criteria Searches for all images between a top and base depth. Selected Image Depth Range Criteria Search for Images within a depth range by entering Top and Base depths in the fields provided. imine LAS Exports - Select Comma or Tab as Value Separators Description: Exporting LAS or LAS files from the imine module provides additional options to use either commas or tabs as value separators. This option is located within the file chooser when selecting the location of the LAS file export.

15 Add a Shift to Image Exports Description: Exporting Images from imine provides an additional option to apply a selected Depth Shift. If exporting an image by a selected range, the top and base depths will be shifted, as will the Depth Reference (if enabled). Drag & Drop Dataset Exports Description: imine provides the option to drag and drop Datasets from either a List or Index Tree to anywhere within Windows File Explorer or application; providing an even faster method of exporting data from ipoint. A default format can be selected from the Datasets Index Tree menu, including CSV, LAS, Perigon Tabular Format and Spreadsheet Exporter Formats. Click & Drag Datasets Click & Drag Datasets from the Index Tree to a File Explorer window to Export. Drag & Drop Format Select a default Dataset export format to apply to drag & drop exports. 5

16 Multi-Well Interval Statistics Description: Interval Statistic calculations have been enhanced to calculate thin bed analysis on a multi -well basis. Multiple datasets are selected from the Datasets or Curves Index Tree, and results are then collated into a single table with an additional Well Name column provided. Results can be exported or copied to other sources. The following statistics are calculated based on a selected curve (e.g. Lithology, Lithofacies etc): Coverage: The coverage of an individual entry (%). Total Thickness: Total thickness of an entry (meters or feet). Bed Count: Total occurrences of an entry. Thinnest Bed: Measures the thickness of the thinnest entry (meters or feet). Thickest Bed: Measures the thickness of the thickest entry (meters or feet). Bed Frequency: Calculates an average frequency of the entry in meters or feet. Average Thickness: Calculates the average thickness of the entry in meters or feet. Note: Statistics can also be filtered to calculate based on a selected Interval Range (e.g. using Depths or TOPS). 6

17 Viz Point Vertical Point Text (Overlay) Description: When displaying an Overlay on a Viz Point track, Point Text can now display in either horizontal or vertical orientation. Embedded View - D CT Scan Images Description: The Embedded View (Object View) has been enhanced to display D CT Scan Images. Image raw files are imported into a File Link curve using the Dataset Editor (within Admin Tool). Additional metadata columns can also be added to pre-populate default settings for displaying D CT Scan images. Metadata columns are optional but must named specifically: WIDTH: Stores the width of the Image. HEIGHT: Stores the height of the Image. NO IMAGES: Defines the number of images contained within the raw file. BIT DEPTH: Defines the Bit Depth of the image. D CT Scan Images can be displayed within Viz Point using an Embedded View by selecting Object View from within the Header and selecting the File Link curve that contains the images. A horizontal scrollbar is provided above the display area to browse through multiple images from the raw image file. An additional Config button is also available to adjust image Width, Height, Bit Depth, Header Offset, Gaps, and Bit Depth Range. 7

18 Processing Point Export Data from Search & Report Criteria Description: Processing Point now has an option to load saved Search & Report criteria from either a template or a file. Loading a Search & Report criteria will automatically retrieve the results, and load them into Processing Point, ready for export. To read more about saving Search & Report criteria, click here. Open Search & Report Criteria Button Click here to open Search & Report criteria, either from an existing Template or previously saved file. 8

19 Filter Export by Selected Curve Description: Processing Point provides an option to filter an export by a selected Curve. This feature is useful for exporting summary data of examples such as NMR and Mercury Injection where multiple rows of data are referenced to the same sample depth. When a filtered curve is selected (e.g. Sample Depth or Sample ID), all rows will be filtered on unique values. If any rows contain differing values - they will be excluded from the final export. Creates a summary view by selecting a filtered Curve. All rows will then be filtered on Filter by Curve option unique rows from the selected curve. All rows will be filtered on unique values. 20 Group Curves Based on Curve Alias Tables Description: Exporting curves from Processing Point automatically groups curve names under one column if aliases belong to the same Curve Alias Table. The resulting curve name will be based on the highest alias in preference, set within the Curve Alias Table configuration of Admin Tool. Use Preferred Curve Alias Names Description: When selecting to Export, the Use Preferred Curve Alias Names option exports all selected Curve Names to preferred Curve Alias Names. For example - a Curve Alias Table containing the aliases CPOR, POR, HPORH in this order will export all selected aliases under the preferred curve name of CPOR. Note: This option does not apply to Spreadsheet Exporter formats. 0

21 Export Well & Dataset Properties to Header Description: Exporting Curves from within Processing Point provides a further option to export selected Well and Dataset Properties into the header of the file. Well and Dataset Properties are pre-selected individually to from the Output options panel of Processing Point. Note: If LAS or LAS format is selected, dataset properties will be exported to the Parameter Information Section. Unit Conversion Description: Unit Conversion gives the user the ability to convert selected curves from one unit to another. Customized expressions can be applied to re-scale curves. Unit conversion options are available from within the Export Format window of Processing Point.

22 Select Spreadsheet Exporter Template Description: Processing Point now supports exporting data to an existing Spreadsheet Exporter template (created from within Admin Tool). This feature supports multi-well data exports, providing the ability to populate Excel spreadsheets containing charts, logos and tables. Spreadsheet Exporter formats are available to select from within the Export Format window after selecting Export from Processing Point.

23 Admin Tool Standardize Unit of any Curve Description: Curve Standardization module within Admin Tool provides the option to standardize the unit of any selected curve(s), regardless of the curve alias table status (red, yellow or green). Standardizing a curve unit also provides the option of re-scaling curve data.

24 Multi-Datastores Transfer Images into Multi-Datastores Description: ipoint provides options of transferring Core or Log Images into a User Owned Datastore, allowing them to be used in ipoint along with existing Master Datastore contents. The Datastore Manager provides options to transfer existing images from the Master Datastore into any User Owned Datastore or vice versa. 5 5 Open Datastore Manager User Datastore Options Export Data Launch Admin Tool Admin Tool Opens the Datastore Connection Manager by selecting this button on the ipoint Status bar. Create, Edit or Delete an existing User Owned Datastore from the options provided within the Toolbar. Transfer selected data and images from the Master Datastore into a User Owned Datastore by selecting the Export Data button from the Master Datastore row. Select the Launch Admin Tool button from any existing User Owned Datastore to launch the Admin Tool. Admin Tool window provides options to import either Data or Images into a User Owned Datastore.

25 ipointweb Open & View Datasets Description: ipointweb now provides an option for opening any Datasets and viewing the contents in a tabular view. Curves are shown as columns and data contents can be copied to other sources. Datasets can be opened from an Index Tree, List, Matrix or ArcGIS. Open Dataset Dataset Explorer View The Open Dataset option is available from the right click menu of Dataset Index Trees, Matrices and Lists. Displays Dataset contents in a tabular view, showing curves as columns and values in rows. Download Datasets Description: ipointweb allows Datasets to be downloaded to industry standard formats, including CSV, LAS, LAS, XLS, PTF and Spreadsheet Exporter formats. All formats are accessible from the right-click menus in Index Trees, Lists and Matrices. 5

26 Open or Download Documents Description: The imine module of ipointweb provides options to open selected document(s) from Document Index Trees, Lists and Matrices. Further options are also provided to download documents to a selected location. Open Document Opens the selected Document(s) directly from ipointweb. Save As Downloads a copy of selected document(s) from ipointweb. Direct URL Link Description: Direct URL Links can be used to access data from an external sources. The direct URL link works by passing through various parameters into the default ipointweb URL, including data, well, group, name and type. Parameter data Description Defines what type of data being opened, e.g. data=ds for a Dataset, data=img for an Image. well Defines the well UWI, e.g. well=well A0. group name type Defines the Dataset Group selection within a Dataset type URL. E.g. group=core DATA Defines either the Dataset Name or Image Name within the URL. E.g. name=cca, name=core IMAGE Defines the Core Image Type within an Image URL, e.g. type=wl, type=uv Examples: A0&group=CORE DATA&name=CCA A0&name=CORE IMAGE&type=WL A0&name=CORE DESCRIPTION 6

27 Download as Workspace Description: The imine Module provides an option to Download as Workspace, based on selections from a List, Matrix, ArcGIS or Dataset Explorer views. This option will download the current view into a Workspace file where it can then be opened within the imine Module of the ipoint. Note: If a workspace query file has been linked to the ipoint Exe within Windows - the ipoint will open automatically each time a Workspace file is downloaded from ipointweb. 7
