App Configuration The application configuration allows you to select MoneyGram applications and place them on your dashboard as Administrator and also load them on to the dashboard of the Manager and Operator. Important: When permissions are granted to a Manager or Operator to make updates using the app configuration, all Manager or Operators at this location are granted the same capability of using this function. Likewise, if applications are added or deleted using the app configuration feature they will affect all users at the location. 1. On the app configuration dashboard app click Launch. Figure 1: App Configuration Dashboard The app selection view is split into two sections. The Featured section shows the applications that can be used. The Application section provides a list of all available applications and can be sorted using the drop down list. 2. Determine the applications you would like to make available for dashboard selection. Click Add to (or Remove). Once the applications are selected they are available to apply to the layout. Tip: Remove appearing by the app would indicate the app is presently on your dashboard and Add means it is not. To add a new app, click Add + link or click the Remove link to erase it from your dashboard. 4 3. Select Layout to create the dashboard view with the applications selected. Note: Buttons appearing the Application section are available for placement based on user role. If you see them here they have not been placed in the layout yet. Tip: All layout changes affect all users within the role. Figure 3: Layout 4. From the Administrator Apps tab drag the Apps buttons and drop them in the panel to display on the Administrator dashboard. From the Operator Apps tab drag and drop the App buttons to the panel where you want them to display on the Operator dashboard. Figure 4: User Role Apps From the Manager Apps tab drag and drop the Apps buttons to the panel where you want them to display on the Manager dashboard. Note: The App Configuration app will only be available to the Manager and Operator if assigned by the Administrator. 5. Select a layout to display in your dashboard. Choose a layout with a top panel and two columns, or two columns. 6. When the layouts for the all roles finished, click Save. 7. 5 2. Create Users The registration process is broken out into several steps before a user is able use the system. The first step is to create the user profile, covered in this topic. Once this has been completed, notify the user of the login details. The user will then be requested to register their computer known as Fingerprinting and provide you with the computer name and location ID. (See Operator Guide) The final step in the process is to complete the registration and notify the user that they are able to start using the AgentWorks system. (See Register User topic in Section 5 below.) 1. On the user setup dashboard app click Launch. Figure 6: User Setup App 2. Click Create New on the search screen. 6 3. Enter the user s basic information and password information Note: The system auto fills the user ID but this can be overwritten. 4. Select and assign the user role by highlighting the role and using the arrows to move the role to the Chosen role(s) box. 5. Place a check in the Manager Approval needed for User Changes if this applies. Roles can be removed by clicking a chosen role and using the arrows to move it back to the Available roles box. Users assigned an Administrator role can access the administrator dashboard apps to perform Admin functions. Users assigned a Manager role can access the manager dashboard and apps used for approvals and reports. Users with an Operator role can access the operator dashboard and apps used to perform transactions. 6. Select the locations where the user is able to perform transactions. Figure 8: User Information 7. Click Show [+] to show optional fields. 8. Enter optional information, including individual threshold information if it applies to the user. Note: Individual threshold amounts override the transaction thresholds set at the location level; individual limits cannot exceed the limits set by MoneyGram. 9. Click Save when finished. 10. 7 Note: You will be prompted to enter a onetime password when creating a manager or administrator. The one-time password will be mailed to your registered address. If you do not receive the password, be sure to check your spam or junk folder. 11. Relay the username and password to the user. Figure 10: Password entry 2012 MoneyGram International, Inc. 6

8 3. Edit User Profile 1. On the user setup dashboard app, click Launch. Figure 11: User Setup App 2. Enter the user s name, user ID, or employee ID in the field provided. Select the radio button to search for active users (users who currently have access to AgentWorks), inactive users (users who do not have access to AgentWorks), or both. Click Search. Figure 12: User Search Note: Use the drop down option to select the user role to narrow the search results. 3. Select the User ID you want to edit. Note: Click the Reset link in a search result row to reset that user s password. Click Not Active to deactivate the user, or Active to activate the user. Figure 13: User Search Results 4. Make updates to the user s profile and settings. Note: In some instances updates to a user profile may require a Manager approval before they are valid. In some cases a manager s approval is required to make changes to the user profile. To eliminate this requirement would also require the manager s approval MoneyGram International, Inc. 7

9 4. Editing Partner Setup 1. On the user setup dashboard app, click Launch. The partner information screen appears. Figure 14: Partner Setup App 2. Select an app from the drop-down list to open that app automatically at login. Choose Select One to open the dashboard at login. 3. Check the Require authentication for each transaction check box to require users to enter a PIN to before performing each transaction. Uncheck the box to not require a PIN before each transaction. 4. Check the Use address for user IDs check box to automatically create user IDs from user s addresses when setting up new users. An automatically created user ID can be overwritten. Uncheck the box to require manual entry of user IDs. Figure 15: Partner Information 5. Click Save to save changes MoneyGram International, Inc. 8

Registering a Computer After the user has performed the Fingerprint (register) requirement and provided you with the computer name and location ID you are now able to complete the registration process. Ensure the following two steps have been performed. 1. New user was created NOTE: Manager approval may be required 2. Fingerprinting (registration) performed by the new user Computers are registered for security reasons. A location will not allow users to log in using a computer until it has been registered. This ensures that only authorized computers may perform transactions at the location. 1. From the POS registration click Launch. Figure 16: POS Registration App 2. In the Agent name/id field type the main office ID associated with the user and click Search. Figure 18: Main Office Search 4. 11 5. Place a checkmark next to the users store ID (location) and select the computer name from the drop down list. Figure 20: Office Information 6. Place a check in the computer activity type box for the intended use for this computer and highlight the MoneyGram POS number. Click Register. Note: Transactional activity includes MoneyGram Send and Receive transactions and similar activities and is typically in the near the front of the servicing location. Back office functions target the administrator or manager duties such as creating users, registering computers, running reports, and are often in the back office. Figure 21: Computer Information 7. A one-time password is sent to your registered address (administrator). Note: Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the in your inbox. Updating or Unregistering a Computer On occasion you may be required to update a computer, the activity level for the user may change or the computer name no longer applies, or the user no longer works at this location. 1. From the POS Registration app click Launch. Figure 24: POS Registration app 2. Click Update or unregister a registered computer from the Computer registration options. 14 5. Place a checkmark next to the users store ID (location). Select the computer name from the drop down list. Type a new computer name, change activity types, or Unregister the user. Click Update to add the changes. Figure 28: Office Information 5. A one-time password is sent to your registered address (administrator). 15 7. Edit and Unregistering Multiple Computers As the administrator you may have the need to update or unregister multiple users during a single event. This is referred to a mass change. Use the following steps to complete multiple updates or unregistrations. 1. From the POS Registration app click Launch. Figure 31: Mass POS Registration app 2. Click Edit multiple for a single location from the Mass Registration Menu. Figure 32: Mass POS Registration menu 3. In the Agent name/id field type the main office ID associated with the user and click Search. Figure 33: Main Office search 4. Select the Main office location from the list displayed. Click Search. 16 5. Include edits as needed for the point of sale, change the computer name, activity type, POS number, or registration status. Click Continue when finished. Note: Only location that have active POS are shown. Figure 35: Edit Multiple POS for a Single Location Important: Unregister can be performed for all computers at one location, (mass) when you select Unregister all POS for one location from the menu options and enter main office location. Warning! Unregistering all computers at a location will prevent the location from performing any operations until computers are registered again. 6. 17 8. Using Dashboards The dashboard is a common location to display MoneyGram applications used to perform work tasks. Once you log in the dashboard appears. The dashboard displayed will be determined by your user role. Some users have multiple roles and can switch between views. Select the down arrow in the Applications (red) ribbon to navigate to the apps available for the Operator. Click Home to return to the dashboard view. Figure 37: Application Ribbon If you have multiple user roles you can easily switch between dashboard views. To change between dashboard views click the gear next your user name in the upper right corner of the screen. Select the role from the options, the dashboard associated with the role selected displays. Note: If no options are present you are not able to switch views. 18 Other menu options are available from the gear drop down. If you are looking for assistance with the application use the Call me to reach a live help agent, or use the Help as a reference guide for using the applications.
