2 Enhancement Summary On March 11, Business Analytics was updated with the following enhancements: Monthly trend report will now have the following options: Weekly Trend pivot view Division Trend pivot view Charts and Graphs Point in Time report now has a Pie Chart option New product attributes have been added to most reports: Subbed product indicator Proprietary product indicator UPC Code GTIN PO Number (Data download and Invoice Detail only) Order Number (Data download and Invoice Detail only) Option to have class, category and group description and number in separate fields. Prior to this change the description and number were in one field making it difficult to use vlookup function for further analysis 1

4 Monthly Trend New - Weekly Trend View All reports in the Monthly Trend dashboard now have a View By option to display purchases by the week B 4A 1. To select the Week view, click on the the View By drop down menu directly above the report. 2. Click on Week. 3. The report view will automatically change to the selected view. You do not need to click OK. 4. The column headers will change to display: A. Year and Week number B. Date of the first day in the week. For reporting purposes the week begins on Sunday. 3

5 Monthly Trend New - Division View Two new reports have been added to the Monthly Trend Dashboard for customers who span multiple divisions: Purchase Summary by Division Purchase Detail by Division - Sortable These two new report formats allow users to group their data by division for additional analysis. 1. Current Purchase Summary report 2. New Purchase Summary by Division 1 As with all Monthly Trend reports, users can now select the View By: Month Week And the data set: 2 Cases Dollars Average dollars per case % Cases purchased % Dollars purchased Net weight 4

6 Monthly Trend Dashboard Notes Download as a pivot table The two new Monthly Trend reports display as pivot tables. A pivot table is a report format that allows you to reorganize and summarize selected columns and rows of data in a spreadsheet. To maintain the format of the Purchase Summary by Division and Purchase Detail by Division when downloading, you must select one of the Excel options. If you select Data, the raw data files will download without the pivot table formatting. 5

7 Monthly Trend Dashboard Notes Change the default time frame To facilitate the View by Week function, the default time frame for all reports in the Monthly Trend Dashboard now default to Last Closed Month. 4 To change the default time frame: 1. Select the desired default time frame. 2. Click Go to run the report. 3. When the report appears on the screen, click on the Page Options menu in the upper right hand corner. 4. Select Save Current Customization. 5. Enter a meaningful name for the customization. 6. Click on Make this my default for this page. 7. Click on OK

8 Charts and Graphs Class Point In Time New Pie Chart format The Class Point in Time report now has a Pie Chart format. Users can select this format by clicking on the View option. The numeric values for purchases, percent of total and Average $/Case appear below the charts. 7
