2 INFRARED Introduction Eurotron portable thermometers series has been designed to control the points of the installation where the temperature is a critical parameter. The instruments can measure the superficial temperature, in order to localize in a quick way problems of lubrication, overload, short circuits, or overheated or out of range equipments. The series is composed by models with a temperature range from -32 C up to 2 C, with accuracy up to ±.5% of reading. Built-In Contact Probe - RTD The MicroRay + and ++ models are equipped with a connector for contact measurement. The available temperature probes include a Contact, Iersion, Penetration, & Ambient Air. One compact probe can actually be stored inside the unit for easy access. Longer probes are available if needed and provided with a wire connection. Applications Laser Sighting - US Ultra Sharp All MicroRay models are equipped with a Class II Laser for aiming purposes. The offset laser sighting will allow you to identify the approx. center of the target being measured. The Ultra Sharp definition of laser makes it easy to read outdoors as well. High and Low Alarms All MicroRay models include a prograable Hi/Lo alarm. A visual label on display and a beep (only for some models) will alert the operator for critical target heating. Adjustable Emissivity The infrared energy emitted by a surface differs according to its composition and physical condition. The parameter, used to characterize the object surface, is called emissivity. The preset value.95 is valid on most coon applications with few exception like shiny metals. Emissivity can also be adjusted from.2 to 1. You can find some guideline on our web site. It is also possible adjust emissivity automatically using contact probe. Tripod Mounting Standard photographic tripod thread is available for accurate and long term measurements. 9V Battery Easily replaceable standard 9V battery is provided with the unit. A kit is also available for rechargeable battery and external charger.
